To clarify,

I see a lot of threads where people are requesting comments from CCP. In many of these threads people get upset if no representative of CCP chimes in.

My point is that there could be reasons that no one with authority wants to say anything. I was positing some possible reasons as to why they might not want to say anything.

they dont post because if you have two groups arguing on forums (like high sec vs. low sec) the best you can do is to not to say anything so none of the groups is upset...then you tell them you discuss issues "internaly" and everybody wins

Hi OP, i have to say this again.

Here no risk at all, smart players and people who pay atention are immune from any aggresion or risk. whole risk vs reward is a myth, people living for years long in null space they and farming ded sites, anomaly, rating in null space, in empty systems, even if somone enter thier space they got, stations, pos strucrures, bookmarks, local, intel, and own eyes, in most cases they risk nothing because meny of them are smart and got tools which protect them from being destroyed.

Risk in Empire, another myth, people who are good at missions - mining risk nothing, even some who lose one tengu per month to NPC or somone who lose faction bs to kamikaze pirates - or one hulk per few months in general risk nothing, because here more incomes in both area hi sec - null space than average isk sink while loses.

Even groups of people who suicide atempt on freighters risk nothing, in fact kamikaze is cheap, so cheap that these days people pop freigters just for lulz, whithout payin atention on own loses, because loses are marginal.

If here no risk at all what should be done and what changes we need ?

That's good and well, but think back how LONG it's been since drones were basically broken. By my count, it's been since roughly Trinity (2007).

Issues like bad drone UI, bad drone AI (damage splitting, not being applied, etc.), T2 drones having the same resist profile as T1 drones, lack of drone damage rigs (besides Sentries), Sentries themselves being broken (do not require nor are affected by racial drone specialization at T2 level, unlike EVERY other drone and weapon system out there), etc., etc., etc. How long has this been going on? A very, very, very, VERY long time. Correct?

So when CCP tells us they're discussing it internally...I don't know about you, but I'd like to hear something more concrete. Because they've had more than enough time to talk about it. Five years? I'd say it's plenty to come up with something. I'm sorry if this sounds offensive, but really drones are and have been in a deplorable state for far too long.

There are a ton of threads on the topic. None that I can recall get any attention from CCP.
Tinfoil Hat: The integration of Dust514 is eventually going to affect all of low and null sec spaces. CCP isn't talking about it because they are waiting to see how FW works out with the first round of integration.


Drones:
Yet another ton of threads on this topic. Any response from CCP yet?
Tinfoil Hat: CCP is working through the rebalancing of ships before they want to talk about rebalancing drones.

Feel free to add your own ideas about topics that CCP avoids. Have fun thinking up scenarios, and by all means, troll like there's no tomorrow.


Maybe because they are as bored with these threads as I am. Why aren't you bored with talking about these things too? You know that they will release devblogs when they have a solid plan for addressing these issues, so all this talking is pretty much pointless.
