Cloaky Proteus. Everything. It's the hammerhead shark of deep black space

I wear my goggles at night.

Any spelling/grammatical errors come complimentary with my typing on a phone

Exactly.

The Terror From the Deep aka Sum of All Fears aka the Unstoppable Great Hammerhead of the Stars, the cloaky Gallente Strategic Cruiser Proteus is the Uberboss of Covert Ops warfare.

It's omnivorous, a true apex predator feasting equally eagerly on lesser predatory species and galactic herbivores. With it's terrifying jaws and skin thick as adamantium, it can fell a single prey of any size by going straight for the throat and clawing the poor victims guts out... or charge a herd, singling out it's next meal while the others flee in sheer panic.

Feed it often, or store in a separate Ship Maintenance Array- it's known to eat the other ships in hangar if left unattended.

The SB's are sexy little ships, great for oportunity kills such as indi's and certain ratting BS's.

Recons are cool, similar to SB's but with a larger target envelope. However they're more easily caught and have a bigger price tag.

T3... almost impossible to catch, each have their own specialties, all deadly... big price tag

Cov-op's Battleships. In 2 words, Force projection. Big, nasty, and with one of the largest sub cap price tags out there. King of the cov-ops fleet, its because of these that everyone fears the rest.

For cloaky ships I generally run in a viator or crane. :D

I don't generally PVP in cloaky type ships. I prefer smashing in someone's face in repeatedly instead of sneaking up on them.

I will always have a soft spot for my cloaky loki. Looked like a freaking uboat.

I used to operate in low sec hunting plexers by scanning them down, or their sites down. Watching them and waiting for the perfect time to strike with it. All in the same ship.

The DPS was... OK. The agility was..... OK. The tank was..... OK but it could do the whole process.

Scan target down
Cloak
Attack
Take phat lewtz back home.

I could only engage PVE fits though, most pvp fits would be a no no but then honourable space combat was not the objective :P

Then one day I was sat cloaked at a mission entrance watching a guy in a tengu go in and suddenly I was locked and.... UHOH.

Turns out I thought I was cloaked.... I wasn't.....

I then joined the corp of the guy that killed me a few months later :)

EFT is great, you should look into it. That fits gets about 320-400 DPS depending on skills/implants. I use a 100mn version that is quite similar. No I'm not linking a fit, go do your own homework. The Proteus can get bigger numbers, but it is slower and my skills for it aren't as good, so I use the Loki.

I really love my helios and my viator. The viator is just... so useful, so fast. The helios is sentimental, I had my first one for like 3-4 years before i forgot i was on gate-cloak instead of actual cloak and got killed. I trained the helios when I was pretty low-sp and in 0.0 (but without a nice blue list) and it really freed things up for me.

I have an arazu too, but I haven't killed too many people in it.

I hunt Battlecruisers with Stealth Bombers. I prefer the Manticore, but the Purifier is pretty great too. My favorite battlecruisers are obviously Tier 3s, but I've had great success with all the BCs including Hurricanes and Myrmidons. :)

Well, killing Tier 3s is mostly a matter of getting close to them without being detected. Sniping Tier 3s are therefore the easiest to catch, but it's not hard to find them in other places too. Killing the lower tier BCs is mostly a matter of overwhelming their tank before their drones eat you alive. It's actually not too uncommon for people to be so shocked by a high SP full gank bomber unloading a face full of pain into them that they neglect to deploy their drones or set them to attack.

I think the thing that makes Myrms not as bad as you'd expect is the dominance of the shield gank EFT-Warrior Myrm.

Scram myrm, web drone, volley with torps? I'm having difficulty with the concept of a SB engaging a myrm and winning without the myrm being incompetent.
