Things CCP doesn't talk about

There are a few topics that strike me as things CCP avoids responding to in threads.

Overheat your tinfoil hats . . . now.


Highsec/Nullsec balancing and risk v reward:
There are a ton of threads on the topic. None that I can recall get any attention from CCP.
Tinfoil Hat: The integration of Dust514 is eventually going to affect all of low and null sec spaces. CCP isn't talking about it because they are waiting to see how FW works out with the first round of integration.


Drones:
Yet another ton of threads on this topic. Any response from CCP yet?
Tinfoil Hat: CCP is working through the rebalancing of ships before they want to talk about rebalancing drones.

Feel free to add your own ideas about topics that CCP avoids. Have fun thinking up scenarios, and by all means, troll like there's no tomorrow.

Why should CCP talk about them in speculative obviously partisan threads attempting to push agenda's?

If there's topics they're avoiding It's likely either that they don't have a clear and consistent message on said subject yet, or that threads are spammed to oblivion and they'd rather avoid the prattle. Conspiracy theories are just that, theories.

Edit: It's almost certainly the latter.

I'm not suggesting that they should. I'm simply saying that there are things that they don't typically comment on. And that there's usually a reason. Something is in the works when they systematically ignore certain topics.

EVE/Dust514 integration is still in testing with FW. Closed beta for Dust, and small sample of faction warfare players. Plus, anyone actually working on Dust is likely under an NDA like the beta testers are.

Null/high balancing: They don't talk about it because nothing new is ever discussed. It's their job to balance the game, not ours. Ours is to UNbalance the game by exploiting loopholes.

Drones: Focus is on ships. Drones work relatively well, so they don't need rebalancing yet.

We have discussions about these issues (and more) internally all the time. Our discussions internally have not yet led to information that is in a state finalized enough to share with the public.

I'm interpreting that as confirmation of my original premise. Because I like to be right. Lol

Bottom line is that if CCP isn't talking about it on the forums, it's because a decisions hasn't been made. It's not because the issue is being ignored. And there might possibly be plans that make any discussion moot because we haven't seen how future updates are going to affect the issues being talked about.

What do you mean could be the reason for not responding to those topics? Maybe there aren't no valid ideas, plans whatsoever yet?

I for one prefer a topic to be publicly avoided until it gets sorted instead of going public with nothing.
