I'm on the patch to quit tobacco, and as a side effect, I have crazy dreams.

having read the extended downtime notification and a few other articles yesterday, about the economic disparity between dust and eve, I went to bed with a little bit of anxiety and I drifted off to sleep with visions of mock skirmishes in my mind.

I also had a very interesting dream:

that walking in station was also released with the migration of Dust to tranquility, thus making capsuleers truly happy to include dust bunnies in new eden. the key to open the door was not an accident, and CCP finished ambulation secretly while threatening its employees with deportation if word got out.

but that was just a dream, and so I hate to do this to you.

However, if you didn't wake up, are you still having the "door" issue? If you did, are you certain that the door issue wasn't a dream in the first place? Twisted

I'm also on the patch, it's awesome. Every time I take a drag it's like I'm smoking two cigarettes at once.

This of course means an earlier inheritance claim from my slavering offspring, and a much lower likelihood of anyone around me getting stabbed.

it's chewing tobacco for me. I dropped smoking to save my lungs two years ago. still addicted to nicotine, though

For a transition to non-smoking I might go with the electronic cigarette option. I have a friend who swears they're really great. He never inhales smoke anymore, just e-cig vapor. The other bonus of an e-cig is I'd feel like a pathetic addict loser huffing on one of those things. Extra incentive to cut the transition time short.

Ironically I took up chewing years ago to quit smoking and it worked for a while and I was able to quit chewing with less effort. Later on my idiot mind got me back on smoking (I think it had to do with us non smoking employees at the pizza shop griping about smokers getting more breaks for their fix). Kept this up until about 2 years ago before I got disgusted with the wheezing, morning lung butter, and a truck bed full of butts.

None of the procedures really worked for me but I did switch my addiction over to pipe tobacco, which is not a huge improvement but I no longer smoke anywhere other than home, I don't get nicotine fits, and I can go for days without it. The downside though is that the smell gets into everything which can be covered up with a healthy dose of cologne, which works until I need to spend any real amount of time in our high heat/high humidity chamber here at work, at which point I aint hiding ****.
