Making this Winter expansion awesome...

Dear CCP,

If you release the features you already announce, I can say this expansion will be good. But you have a chance to make it awesome! How?

F***, this is really annoying!

  • Allow us to change chars inside the same account without the need to login again!
  • . . . . . (At least let us save the password! I'm in my home PC and I don't think my wife is a security issue.)
  • Allow us to reconnect to lost drones when we warp out.
  • . . . . . (We really hate to comeback and collect all drones one by one each time we forget them!)
  • End the mandatory stop training before we jump to a clone.
  • . . . . . (I normally forget to start the training again and I lose days before I realize that I'm not training anymore!)
  • End the stop training before I inject an implant.
  • . . . . . (just do these steps behind the scenes using code -> stop training, inject, start training -> simplify our lives)

    • T3 refit in space -> still waiting, tick, tack...
    • . . . . . (If you have problems with this, just make it simple ->subsystems in cargo -> put ship inside hangar->swap-> take ship out!)


    C'mon, fix this already!

    • Why, when I'm opening a cyno and have the necessary fuel but separated in small amounts it doesn't allow me to open the cyno until I stack it?
    • Each time I open a can/cargo and I have lots (50+) bookmarks inside, it takes forever to load and show its contents!
    • Allow us to stack items inside a pos or a carrier corporate hangers.


    It will help allot if...

    • CCP adds a reminder popup window for calendar events with a configurable time, with a snooze and ack buttons.
    • Allow us to see what items present in the cargo of ship or hanger, are damage, by adding some visual symbol to the icons.
    • Allow us to see what drones are present in the drone bay, cargo of ship or hanger that are damage, by adding some visual symbol to the icons.
    • The search in the inventory window is fixed to also look inside any cans, so I can find items kept inside a can.


    I will kiss some developer ass if...

    • The 30 seconds waiting timer, after I enter a fleet or change position inside a fleet can be removed or reduced
    • CCP allow us to open cans inside a pos or a carrier corporate hangers
    • CCP applies my fleet shield bonus with full recharge like the armor bonus are applied so I do not have to recharge them each time I jump or take a ship out of Pos.
    • CCP revamps electronic attack ships
    • CCP revamps Black ops


    If CCP does this, I will personally send each one of the devs involved a bottle of my finest wine if the following effect is added to this game, this winter:

    . End the mandatory stop training before we jump to a clone.

    . End the stop training before I inject an implant.
    (just do this steps for us in behind the scenes using code -> stop training, inject, start training... we don't need to know what happens -> simplify our lives)

    (Today, I have to use my outlook calendar to plan for CTAs and PI because I need the reminders and the game doesn’t provide them!)

    . Allow us to see what items present in the cargo of ship or hanger, are damage, by adding some visual symbol to the icons.

    . Allow us to see what drones are present in the drone bay, cargo of ship or hanger that are damage, by adding some visual symbol to the icons.

    . The search in the inventory window is fixed to also look inside any cans, so I can find items kept inside a can.

    . The 30 seconds waiting timer, after I enter a fleet or change position inside a fleet can be removed.
    (Question: if this timer cannot be removed due to "I don't care" reasons, it can be lowered to more acceptable times, like 5-10 seconds?)

    . CCP allow us to open cans inside a pos or a carrier corporate hangers
    (if I can do it inside an industrial cargo hold, why not a corporate hanger?)

    . CCP applies my fleet shield bonus with full recharge like the armor bonus are applied so I do not have to recharge them each time I jump or take a ship out of Pos.

    . CCP revamps electronic attack ships

    . CCP revamps Black ops


    If CCP does this, I will personally send each one of the devs involved something from this house. It’s from my region, I lost my mind a bought a dozen boxes to fill my cellar last year, I will gladly share some if the following effect is added to this game, this winter:

    nice list, a couple things are technical limitations as I understand it like the session change timer on entering fleet (its the same session timer you get while gating or docking and is there as a buffer to allow the cluster to keep up with your current "state" when you do something to change it)

    full recharge on shield bonuses makes no sense, your upper limit was raised, not your ability to regenerate

    the implants and clone thing I assume is the same issue, being that they simply cant apply attribute modifiers on the fly and moving from one clone to another means theres a point where you are out of any body, and as a result you can't be training one

    your shield thing is spoken as a true armor tanker. The thing is, if you board an armor tanked boat in space, you start at 100% armor, regardless of skills or modules fitted. If you board a shield boat in space, you start with the ship's base shields. Yes, they will recharge eventually on their own, and yes, you could cycle that shield booster if you have one.     The ability to rename corp hangers in space (they have the option listed already)

    yes that is my view also, is not a question of making physical sence, is a question of balance between a shield tank vs an armor tank

    Unforgiven Storm for CSM 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13. (If I don't get in in the next 5 years I will quit trying) :-)

    All excellent ideas, CCP should take note.
    Maybe a later time, though. There's already enough awesome for this expansion.

    ok i have to add this here:

    Game is how much years old ? and you CCp still didnt get IG gamma settings! no way to increase brightness in game!!! so you have walking in station (prison cell) you invented jump drive and stuff! but you cant add one simple settings as brightness correction ?

    It is really nice to see CCP well trained EVE players to be happy with that they already have - and to call +4 ships "expansion".

    I personally have flown shield boats for YEARS and I can honestly say it really isn't an issue at all (imo).

    You are an idiot. Two expansions per year, and if done right, they add up to something nice. Please ignore the last year and a half though. CCP usually does a good job (not lately however). If you want big expansions and pandas go play WoW? Just keep in mind those cost extra.

    You are absolutely correct about I should take my money for 3 EVE subscriptions ($500 / year ?) from CCP elsewhere - that is my plan too after announce of closing WiS. There are plenty of other entertaining MMO pixels besides outdated WoW.

    From someone that can tank pretty efficiently in either shield or armour, the thing with armour is you would be required to activate the repper to regnerate if the situation was reversed whereas shields can regenerate passively in the current situation. That being said I would not complain if they appeased the shield tanking masses with this 'buff'.

    The stopping the skill training issue is probably impossible as pointed out above.

    To the rest of the list pretty much kudos on most and +1
