Loggin out to switch characters (aka: the little change that would make the life of everyone easier)

+1, although with a slight caveat.

I think "log off" should, indeed, continue to do precisely what it does right now, since "log off" implies signing out of your current account. They should, however, implement a "switch character" button as well.

Exactly. In case of 2 different options, it would be nice if "Log Off" took you straight to the login screen instead of restarting the client also - at least i can't see a valid reason to restart the whole client in that case either.

But the main point stands: Switching characters right now is a PITA in its current state.

We want a button that actually takes us to CharSelection isntead of restarting everything!

I have been looking for a place to do this for a while. Used to only play one character but now that I have started using alts this is really strange that I have to close all the way out and come back in.

Why not give an option if you select ESC -> Logoff

1) Change Characters (takes you back to the selection screen)
2) Restart Client (Closes and restarts so you can change accounts)
3) Quit the game (does as it says)

Please make this change, I know it is not that difficult to do.

and a "automatically login with main character" checkbox on the login screen to safe me a click per day.

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value
