it's an implant that is only good for your first 30 days of your account. gives you an implant that is effectively +3. however the implant ceases to function the moment your account passes the 35th day [they put in some leeway] after being converted to paid.

it's not more "$ for SP" than "buying a GTC, converting it to PLEX, selling PLEX, buying implants, getting podded 35 days later"

Tedium and difficulty are not the same thing, if you don't realize this then STFU about game design.

I love how people interpret things to see and support things their way. Instead of looking at it objectively.

CCP. Plz close for lack of intelligence.

This.

And it only works for the newly created account. Accounts older than 35 days can't activate the implant.
And it can get destroyed if you are podded with that implant (although I've read somewhere that you can ask a GM to get it back once).
And it won't boost your jump clone.

So, yeah... It's not $ for SP.

It's called incentive, it's a marketing ploy. And it has existed since the commissioned officer's edition of EVE... Roll

yes - if you get podded with that implant in (and on an account <35 days old) CCP will give you it back.

I fully support skill points for gold doubloons. This would be exclusive enough to make it something special and CCP might be able to corner the doubloon market.

Quick correction: Its a booster, not an implant.

You can stack those +3 with a +5 implant and get +8 attributes. However if you want to take full advantage you will only train cybernetics to level III and get +6 attributes. Train cybernetics past level III and you lose training time.

This is the story of how i trained a full T2, dual rep tanked dominix with T2 sentries alt in little over one month.

Take $ and buy PLEX. Take PLEX and buy ISK. Take ISK and buy a char. There you go, SP for $.

Thanks for the gifts but how about ISK generation problem? This looks pretty exploitable for me, as you can invite yourself pay with plex to get plex reward and Cerebral Accelerator, then sell accelerator in contracts. Repeat until greed is satisfied Roll

Im sorry but trail accounts need some reeling in as well as a head start to get some of a curve to be ahead of the older compeitition. This elegant solution was one of the many ways of accomplishing such.

Buying SP for $ is however a big no.

To train skills faster on other starter account (for example on steam account or on 14-day trial whre you dont have this implant as bonus).
