One Tank of Honor Attention says you're one of those that believes university bandwidth is for whatever students want to use it for (gaming, pirating music, etc) and not schoolwork... Pirate

On the original topic:
1) Warp to safe
2) Logout

Problem solved. Nothing is so critical that it can't wait 30 seconds.

That would be a negative there ghost rider. I don't go to a university, I haven't since the 1990's, and I'm retired, so I can use my bandwidth for whatever I want.

You went to Uni in the 90s and you're already retired?! Shocked

Dammit, I need a new job.

On topic - like the 'downsized' comment. Similar amusing implications for 'buggered'. Big smile

Well, probably the Uni was his workplace.

I got lost in thought... it was unfamiliar territory.

Chuck Sheen

You had a Chuck Sheen moment. You tried to be epic like Chuck Norris, but failed like Charlie Sheen.

..or, he was keeping up with his career requirements; for many that involves revisiting University every 3-5 years. Actually, I understand for some now, it is required on a yearly basis. My brother is in a Paramedic and has to do that.

I cant believe I'm the only one to think the Eve Retirees are more active and productive than they were while working.

As for the op. You got stuck on a roid or other lco.

Oh in future you must make people wait for at least twenty to thirty seconds if you keep running they will call you for the littlest of things however if they still need you after a minute or so they're probably not going to help themselves.

Sadly.

Its time to stand up against the bad empire based CEO telling falsehoods about what new characters can accomplish and pushing them towards an in game experience of drudgery and loneliness keeping them in the shadow of ignorance for at nest their own profit at worse apathy towards all the experiences that Eve has to offer.

Seeing the thread entitled 'Your greatest moments in Eve' makes wants me to ask something.

Could the EVE community help with a new descriptive word ( e..g Nerf, Gank, Buff) that describes this or a similar visceral Eve moment.....

1 Log on PC at work, volume off , window screen, sneakily rat in favourite 360mill ship whilst reviewing e-mails and daily tasks.
2 Get interrupted by phone call or co-worker - hurridly select warp to SAFE - minimise screen.
3. Re-open screen after longer than expected interruption
4. Stare UNCOMPREHENDINGLY at small pod & rather contented looking frigate sized BELT rats ...
5. Exhale and collapse rubber face into left hand.
6. Use * new word* in general rant to confused co-workers....

Any suggestions ...?
