Can we earn isk this way from participating in FW ground wars?

I foresee many DUST players who are not used to EVE being scammed.
I foresee many tears in forums about scams.

The idea is great and after playing the Dust Beta the FPS is fun but the problem is Dust wont last long unfortunatley. Have you seen the attenton span of console players? Dust bunnies will be off playing some other game within a month that is the reality when it comes to console games and CCP is blind if they dont see this. Hate to burst your dust bubble.

Currently on SiSi, you dont get any isk from OB'ing.
In fact, you're risking your destroyer to hover over a lowsec district for 10-15 minutes.

So the question "What's in it for me?" is a very good one and needs addressing.

I guess it helps you faction taking territorial control of the warzone that may increase the LP you can earn and use to buy ships for possible resell on the market for ISK. Yeah, it is a long stretch ... but since when did you need more of a reason to shoot at someone?

This doesn't matter. It's a free online game, if PS3 is updated most likely Dust will already be compatible and be able to convert over.

My laptop is broke so I am currently playing DUST instead. It's alright but it's no EVE.

I doubt that. The main problem with PS3 for devs was the processor architecture and that's what will get binned in the move to "PS4".

For those Sony fanbois - do try to remember that Sony has a bloody awful record on "backwards compatibility".

Dust took too long is all, CCP tried to do too much at the same time and failed on all counts.

They may as well launch Dust, but its never going to come close to recovering dev costs.

CCP just want to be VERY careful it doesn't **** off the customers of the Golden Goose (Eve) because if it does.......
