Hello,

As (like quite a few of us) an older player (both in age and in EVE time), having taken numerous breaks, tried various things (pirating, blob warfare etc) and got bored again (I guess we all do, right?). I have re-activated my account and am really looking to find something which has been missing.

As to what it is, I can't quite put my finger on it but I would imagine I would know when (and if) I find it. So to cut to the chase here is what I am not really interested in, as it is only fair to state that:

I am not interested in:

- Participating in hard core PvP only to start with as having been out of the game etc, I really do lack an understanding of changes, updates, new ships, new mods, etc. Though PvP was something I was very, very well versed in at one time, a lot has changed and the idea of being fodder does not really appeal.

- Being amongst a group of guys who constantly talk about Sanctums / Plexs / Missions etc in Corp chat. Nothing puts me off rapidly than reading people discussing that stuff in Corp chat.

- Stuck in low sec with limited, difficult access to 0.0 or 0.0 with heavy (hostile) traffic and no peace and quiet.

What I am interested in is:

- Repairing Security sec, safely. Currently at -6.0 and never really enjoyed this whole 'piwat; thing. I tried it, it bored me and then I tried to repair my sec, lost the will to play yada yada yada. I like to roam free, throughout 0.0 / low and high sec, you see

- Genuine stability. I am not opposed to joining big alliances and not opposed to pvping, as that is all I primarily have done and been somewhat competent with (since '04).

- Mature and an understanding perspective. I cannot always be online due to RL and work. If its all a bit quiet and boring, please do not be offended if I log off and go do something else.

Not much, I hear you say then again I have been down this road before only for people that I have spoken to, in the past, to suddenly up and leave or the Corp / Alliance breaks down or what I was told was a stable area with pvp etc was not the case at all. Or ratting options were limited to some rubbish area which had so much traffic going through it, it would have been easier on all parites if I simply typed in local 'Warp to belt II @ 30', as constantly warping to SS's and getting nothing done is actually even more boring than getting ganked (well, I would imagine it would be).

Just on that note about ratting, I am only interested in doing this to repair my sec. I have no compulsion to do this 24/7 all the time as a) it is one of the most mind numbing experiences in the game and b) I do not have any mad, desperate urge to make isk. I have enough for how I want to play, not to mention lots of ships and mods.

As for TZ - I am a UK player whose work schedules let me log in on US and EU TZ, depending on how my working week pans out.

So, in short, no BS talk about Sanctums or Missions (seriously, no...just no). Laid back, stable, with a genuine opportunity to fix me sec status. Time to re-learn the basics of pvp, get to know new ships and mods and ask ridiculous questions.
