FoF/Drone target priority interface

Since the NPC AI has changed, it would make sense to give us more control over our AI based systems.
An interface which allows us to prioritize which types of ship/drone our drones or FoF missiles target in order.

eg

User modifiable tabs to define range criteria, eg <10KM, 10KM to 20KM, 20KM to infinity have one tab or several...
Each containing the same list of ships/drones/objects.

<10KM
ECM drones
Light combat drones
Med combat drones
Heavy combat drones
Interceptors
Frigates
etc etc

...

Nice Idea, One clarification. Do you mean define Range and Ship Class? I think it would be too overpowered if it was ship class. A better alternative might be signature radius.

yes, perhaps OP, your suggestion is a great compromise.

A new context menu on the HUD settings, with a slider for priority, full left priorities smallest sig, full right prioritizing larger sigs, separate sliders for FoF missiles/drones. Not so OP and tricky to change on the fly...

Plus a checkbox to 'persist', so it they don't change targets when they are at 3% structure in preference of a new target that arrives after the initial engagement, or perhaps this can be a further balancing mechanism.

It would be nice, but manual targeting does the job with minimal trouble (for drones at least).

My only gripe there is the affinity drones have for attacking triggers.

Might be a good addition: ways to specify what not to target, especially for situations like FoF going for walls and drones continuously (re)targetting trigger ships
