This post is about one idea a friend of mine had, about making the FW only really profitable for the ones that actually fight in the war, instead of rewarding those that constantly change to the wining side with their alts to farm LPs.
I'm posting this for him, because even tho i'm not that skilled in english, the idea is from Praznimrak, and it would probably sound like trolling instead of an actual idea. "WE NEAD BETER REWALLS FOR THE PILEHATS DAT FIGHT NOT THE FERMERS!!!"

So for those that actually don't speak Praz here it goes.

Since forever we have been dealing with farmers in FW, first it was the L4 runners, then the 1 day alt plex farmers for the wining side, now it goes on with L4 FW mission runners for the winning side with absurd amounts of LP per mission if the warzone is at T4.

I couldn't care less for this part of the community IF they didn't have a direct impact in the economy in general, and specially in the specific items we can get from each militia LP store.

We have seen it's damage in the minmatar items, then in the caldari, now it's clearly going to be the gallente, being the amarr the only ones that kept it safe cause they have never been on the winning side, so, no point in farmers swarm their side.

Now...the idea! First of all this is just a scratch, the current rewards for plexing etc, should be re-planed, and i'm not going to do the math, but, only throw the idea in here and see where it goes. Also i am against the idea of forcing players to pvp if they don't want to BUT if you join factional WARFARE, well then, i think that any idea that force those who joined to pvp IS in fact a good one. Want to only PVE? there is a lot of ways to do it, it shouldn't be in FW.

So, Praz's idea basicly is for CCP to create a new set of ranking medals, ( like the ones we have now in FW that don't have any real meaning in game ) but a set of ranking medals for PVPers, using the same mechanic they've created to give LPs for kills, or value ship losses for the new bounty system, the more you kill, the higher rank you will get. just like the rank system we have now, first ranks should be easy to get, top ones, really hard, and only those that commit themselves to pvp each day will eventually get them.

This ranks will affect the LP stores ( it could have discounts like it was before this last change, i really don't know... ), so, pilots that undock everyday and risk their ships in the war, fighting in plexes for conquering or defending a system, WILL BE REWARDED much better than those that only plex or mission run.

Also this should encourage any pilot that wants to pvp and make a living out of it to join FW EVEN if you can only join the loosing side. Example: Caldaris are at tier1 now and with only 4 system left. Gallente have now farmers running missions ( since there aren´t much systems to plex ) recieving stupid amounts of LP for winning a war that they didn't do nothing to win, actually some of them can actually be caldari farmers just taking advantage of the fact that the other side is winning. The idea is to make a connection between this new rank system and the warzone tier, making it that, a high ranked PVP pilot of caldari at tier1 wz will have his LPs be more valuable ( through the discounts on the LP store because of his PVP rank ) then the LPs of the gallente farmer that never pvp'd in his eve life even at tier4. So this could actually be something good for even keeping the loosing side with active pilots, instead of seeing them go away with the GFs, because at tier 1 you simple can't make a living out of it.

MAKE FW NOT PROFITABLE FOR THOSE THAT JOIN JUST TO FARM AND BASICLY DESTROY THE INCOME OF THOSE THAT LOOSE SHIPS EVERYDAY FIGHTING THE WAR.

There are soooo many ways to make isk without involving pvp out there, why keep that window open in a feature that was created to involve pilots into pvp.

That is all, once again this was Praznimrak idea. So i'm not the one to be taken credits for it, nor to flame. Obviously i think it's a good one, that is why i'm doing this to expose it.

How will this prevent people from making alts, putting them in the enemy militia, and killing them in insurable T1 ships to gain ranks?

Hi all first of all thx to Bez for trying to put my idea on the paper.

Here comes the answer to your question and i will elaborate my idea a bit more:To gain ranks,data will be puled from same lp sistem that is rewarding you for destruction of opponent ship,the same one that makes it unprofitabel to make alt and kill it in inshurabel ship to gain lps.So if you have alt and you kill it 10 times in inshurabel t1 frig you gain small amount of points to upgrade your rank.

bezer didnt get my ranking sistem and tier of war zone control realation.Thw idea is that higer your pvp rank higer benefits you get from war zone upgrades.It means if you just join a Fw on side that have lets say tier 4 like galls have now,you dont get any benefits from the curent tier,until your pvp rank dont go up.On first rank level you get 10% of curent tier and on higest rank you can get 100% benefit from curent tier control.

This way we do avoid farming alts geting benefits,thay can still farm but whithout benefits that tier zone gives,untill they get involved in war it self.This way we eliminate all farmers,that do have huge impact on space control whith hords of plexing alt,we save prices of fw lp store that was made to suport Fw players in thair war,and not the the rest of eve comuniti geteing benefit from a feature thay didnt put time nither effort,and most important we gona evoid unbalnce that ocures as soon as one Fw side get some advantage it gets invadid by farming alts sinking other side cose of huge numbers.......

Two things will remove mission farmers forever and ever:
- Missions can only go to hostile space (WHY THE HELL HASN"T THAT BEEN DONE ALREADY! .. tsk, tsk)
- Poison pills to be included in all missions.

There, done and done.
* Explanation for the slower in the audience: The more systems one hold the less viable mission locations (hostile system) remain but the higher the payout (tier system) and you had better fight for the mission plex or take a standing hit with your militia as enemy can abandon it if you bolt (poison pill).

The bigger issue is plex farming which is stupidly easy now that you get just 1-2 weak/aneamic NPCs per plex .. sure there needs to be a gun, but it doesn't actually have to be on your ship .. just have a dps boat do 20s in each plex nuking the rats and leave the gunless stab monkey alt to babysit the time.
Was put in place to prevent farming .. went from a 100% AFK alt to a 1% main + 99% AFK alt endeavour .. how is that anti-farming solution working out for you CCP

On the whole: Excessive LP in FW has shifted focus from KB's to Wallet's which is not a good thing.

Except in all the cases where an active PvP'er has mission alts and farm when no targets are to be found (TZ dependent). Missions have 'ownership' based on who accepted it, rewards are granted no matter who actually runs the missions .. there are till quite a few who use a FW character zipping around in fast frigs opening missions and having a neutral do the actual work .. mitigates risk and CCP doesn't care.

I like the idea. There is just one thing: Do you trust CCP to do it right? After all that stuff they screwed up?

I actually liked the status after the ninja update and before Retribution. There were no gunless stabbed farmers because all these regular old NPCs prevented them. Then BAM! Retribution returned people to farming.

and how do you conquer a system without plexes?

er...who then? Should we ask CCP to sell EVE ONLINE to a company that we find trust worthy to fix the game like we want to? Is that what you're saying? Or do you wanna try to do it yourself? I really don't know if CCP is accepting new employers right now...but...i sure dont qualify as an illustrator in RL to try and make this changes myself.

Yes they did screw up...but it's our job to let them know that

i woud not say "only profitable for the accounts that ACTUALLY do pvp."i see it more as players who actuly contribute in FW as a feature.The revard shoud onñy be for ppl realy involved in Fw.CCP did make Fw to be batellground and not FARMGROUND
