If you still have the two free remaps there's no reason not to go full optimal, train your mining barge in 5 or 6 days instead of 8 with implants, then when you've got it go back to a broader remap (int/per is what I usually use when I'm not training anything in particular, just trainin' in general) with the other free remap.

This assumes that "getting a barge to help my corp" translates to "I don't actually like mining, because I am sane", if you're one of the nutters that genuinely enjoys lasering rocks you'll want to put more thought into your remap and maybe balance more memory for industry stuff and int for long-term instead of just blasting through the one-off Perception/Will build. Though it's actually still an option for a career miner, use free respec for ship skills, get 'em to 5 fast, then got to Mem/Int or Int/Mem.
