Corp and POS revamp please

First i want to say thank you CPP for all the hard work you have done on clearing up the bugs' making new ships. doing some neat explosions and all the other things that make eve great.

But at the moment the Corp and Pos structures are sadly under design. i do a lot of corp management and when i have to role out a new role for my corp i'm confronted with a thousand check boxes all on one screen. thankfully i'm good at dealing with vast amount of detail on the screen, i get a lot of practice at work. however it can be a bit daunting for those who see it for the first time or cant handle it. This has been fixed however by making title roles. That way you just have to go through the complex matrix just once to create a title role with set privileges. but still to assign these title roles to each person you have to individually edit each person and assign them. bit of a chore if you have to assign to 20 or so people.

first suggestion is to have a way of doing bulk assigning. that way i just multi select the 20 people i need out of the straightforward (Quick) members list, right click and the all stay selected and choose the assign title role option. there i can assign the role and it will be applied to all people. and vice verser if i want to remove roles from people.

Second suggestion is if you highlight each role name in the matrix such as hanger access other, or station defence then if you hover your curser over the option long enough then a curser popup should come up with a brief description of what that option does. i should not have to google and trow through internet forums just to find out what a single tick box on a screen with thousand of tick-boxes are, do.

as for POS's... i mean really??? their very design is bugged and CPP have admitted it. high or low sec if you want to use it properly you need to set it up in a system with an NPC station and for things like lab work and such you need to work from the NPC station as well as set up a corp office from there so you can use the corp hanger. to invent copy manufacture it gets so needlessly messyacianac with putting half the materials in the npc corp hanger the other half in the lab. not knowing which in which, whilst standing in the npc station (wont work when your in your by your own station. and touching your left ear with your right elbow. CPP please you can make this so much easer. we already have a ships hanger, if one of these is at the POS as well as a corp hanger, let the POS be dock-able and once docked you can store the items in the hanger which then can be used for lab work, manufacturing, or whatever else it is needed for.

Thanks for listening.

A) I'm sure C++ helped a lot in the creation of EVE but CCP did all the work. However I wasn't aware a programming language can admit to anything or fulfill request for you on its own.

B) You must have missed all the talks about the POS revamp this summer didn't you? Go look up the CSM minutes.

C) The corp remake is already on their todo list. Mass role assigning would certainly be well received and built in descriptions to each role would be as well.

What I really wanna know is what is on CCP's plate for Retribution 1.1? They put out a lot of awesome stuff in 1.0 but I know them too well to just start pushing everything else they develop to [unnamed summer expansion]. And I doubt all their efforts are going into preparing for fanfest. They seem to be pretty quite right now.....hmmm

Maybe they're frantically working to finish something epic for fanfest?
