Old standings still valid?

Been working on getting corp standing up with a few separate NPC corps and have been getting those low in the compositions up to make the corp standing better.

Despite looking all over the forums and Internets... I can't seem to figure out two possibly unrelated issues:

Several members left a few months ago and in NPC corps with active missioners they have been removed from the composition, but in several cases, corp has retained the positive or negative standing with an NPC corp although composition is empty. I thought it was supposed to reset after a given time??

One active missioner has retained negative status with a few low level agents, although he has gained +8 standing with that corp, will agent standing affect his overall standing? we believe this occurred years ago when he refused a few too many missions... tbh no one knows.

Any useful thoughts or wiki's I missed on this would be helpful.

If I noticed correctly, NPC corp standings remain as they are ( until someone starts doing missions for them) faction standings however equal out.
This is also one of the reasons you can have jumpclones when the corp you are in has high NPC standings. Also iirc, you can't see any composition to the NPC corp standings, while you can see composition for Faction standings.

No idea what that guy is talking about.

Standings are evaluated at DT. If one member has a standing with a corp/faction, and no one else does, and that person leaves, that standing will remain, even with no one showing in the composition. (This is how the faction selling corps work)

I don't believe agent standing has any bearing on anything anymore.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

yeah I was generally under this impression as well, was just hoping for some kind of reference, an old blog, dev response or whatever, so I can move from believing to knowing.

Corp standing is reevaluated on a weekly cycle. If the person happen to have left on the last day of your corp's cycle, then it recalculates on next dt.
