About us

Our corporation (Kador Rookie Academy) is looking for players who enjoy the social aspect of EVE first and foremost. As a small group of experienced players, we started the corporation as a way to find new friends in the game, starting fresh with the goal to build ourselves up and just have a ton of fun together over the next few years. At first we started out as an academy, but things have naturally moved on since then as the young players grew older and more experienced.

Our Activities

We do missions, lowsec PVP, 7 day long "camps" in wormholes and soon we will be doing incursions and nullsec roams.

As a corp we schedule our week in advance, doing a nice variety of operations each week to keep things fresh.

Players are never forced to take part in our fleets. We do declare war against other corps some times for fun, but we don't grief.

Type of Corp

We are a combat team. When starting the team we decided that industrial wings only complicate things and attract corp theifs. We have setup the corp so that it never holds assets. The members are the assets and they are responsible for their own isk and ships.

This approach allows us to hand out management roles without any real risks involved.

We have some members who trade, and have interests in nullsec and lowsec trading. They organise this within the corp, but again, the corp never holds ownership of any of their assets.

Tax

We have no tax. We have no expenses so there is no need for it :)

Goals

As most corps, we dream big. I think that is what makes Eve so much fun. You build your way up with people who you enjoy playing with. You log in each day, excited about the progress that is being made. Its a great feeling.

We plan on moving to the boarder of highsec, close to a nice lowsec pocket with nullsec access. The area has plenty highsec and lowsec mission agents and will be a perfect PVP training ground for the younger players in the corp and a nice staging area for the veteran PVPers.

Once our corporation is large enough, we will attempt to move to nullsec if it is what the team members want.

Why you should join us

We are a team, not just a corp. We are different and I dont think there are many corporations out there like ours. The friends you make in our corp will stay by your side for your entire Eve career.

Time-zones

We are mainly an EU corporation. We have an FC in Canada who runs those western fleets for us, but they are less fequent compared to the EU side of things. We would like to build up our US ranks, but we cannot guarantee the US teams activity at this point in time.

Hehe, hey Infy, thanks for making this thread!

I'm new to Kador Rookie Academy myself, not even out of trial yet, what I found out is that if you're looking for a fun corp that enjoys helping each other and working as a team you can't go wrong here, no drama, fun events and awesome friends to be found!

They took me to so many events and shared the spoils even though I was pretty useless, just so we all can learn how to follow fleet orders and get experience into eve team play overall, and even all my pestering questions were answered lol

Joining the corp now will make a solid fundation for later when the rookies will be an awesome force to be feared.
