I was tooling around in Brapelille today and noticed a lot of roleplaying going on in local. Is this a taste of the future of high-sec, roleplaying everywhere?

Congratulations for figuring out that as soon as one logs into EVE one is instantly roleplaying.

The brilliance of this revelation must be dazzling to you.

Pffft get over yourself

Casual RP is LOTS of fun. It promotes creative writing and understanding of the game's lore and back story. It opens your eyes to a deeper world than what you see in your client and makes you truly feel the scope of the EVE universe, not just the EVE game.

It's why we need stuff like WiS. So people can appreciate the depth of the universe by walking through it instead of having to RP it all the time. And it simply enhances the RP for the ones that already do RP :D

Try it, it's like writing a good book while you read it.

Too each his own I guess. While I am not into it, I have no problem with folks that enjoy it.

And what's wrong with that? After all aren't we all roleplaying to a certain extend? Actually is this the future of EVE: A game where people are forced to enjoy the game in a specific way otherwise they get scorned upon?
And i'd rather have a chat full of roleplay than low level schoolyard trashtalk.

I have to admit, it was pretty clean in local, except for a few guys who felt someone was telling them how to play the game.
