i really dont vote since is a waste of free PR to any game company and to make believe that such website has good informative value.

but how can people still compare those kiddie games with EvE online?

Because why would you want to play games with little kids, when you can play a game full of grown men who are emotionally little kids?

internet spaceships

are serious business sir.

and don't forget it

EvE calling balance tweaks an expansion.

It's what the community demanded instead of anything to do with walking in stations.

I would have preferred to see the game become so much more, but so far they've done a good job on improving flying in space.

I think you misunderstand. WIS can die in a fire for all I care, I shut that *stuff* down day 1 when my GPU chugged allong at 15 FPS, not to mention the wonderful amount of gameplay it offers. The balance tweaks were needed, but calling what came out this year "expansions" is being overly generous.

Hehe

If only 5% of the WoW subscriber base approved of, and voted for the Pandas, it would be enough to defeat a unanimous Eve user-base vote.

Internet polls - best idea since sliced bread crust removers.

I don't judge people by their race, religion, color, size, age, gender, or ethnicity. I judge them by their grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, clarity of expression, and logical consistency.

I

*If* lady Gaga played Eve, we'd win. If, smiff...

I don't think Retribution will beat Pandas (hope it beats "Other"), nor even saying we should, as I'm not a player -- though that expansion is $30? -- but really, numbers (like size) doesn't always matter. It's what goes viral/social and what people are passionate about. See: Reddit & stupid internet memes for example. Ya just never know.

Otherwise, the numbers are pretty weak across the board currently, deserving or not.

Plug pulled on WiS....

Plug pulled on my vote.

Eve is about Capital ships, WiS, Boobs, PI and Isk!

The problem wasn't so much walking in stations as it was the idea of charging you $20 for a pair of electronic pants or $99 for the privilege of doing CCP's work for them writing 3rd party software like Dotlan, EVEmon, EVEkill, etc. Especially when the game is still so obviously flawed and buggy. Retribution fixes certain things that were broken. But it has also broken other things. It's been a long time since EVE has seen an "expansion". Unless you count the new destroyers and mining frigates as a major "expansion"...
