EWAR drones get final shaft?

I've surmised that TP/Webbdrones were never real popular before the ai changes. And that EWAR pisses off rats. SO, does this mean that these drones are now completely unusable?

I run with a couple buddies, and was wondering how to incorporate a web of TP.

Well its not THAT big of a deal considering noone used these drones in PVE anyway, but yeah, i have tried them too out of curiosity and if by some miracle they arent dead the second you launch them, they will be as soon as they attack. Insta switch for the whole room. Except vampire drones, those are non threat generating so they live long enough for a cycle or two.
