So wait your whole method of killing relied on the other guy doing something as a mistake?
Yeesh and I thought I had issues due to going to lowsec or counterganking Goons using Concord.
Also there are many many people who will happily gank you in low and then go to Hisec where you can use the kr on them.
Or you can be that ganker.

Or you can tract all your stuff to me for one trit and then quit the dying game that is EVE.
I promise it will all be lost in a way that involves pvp and probably a lot of Tequila.

ohhhhmydays lol

so i was roaming and saw a venture on dscan, and was like "omg someone actually using the new frigate to low sec mine", warped to the belt, targeted the guy

put the guns on, guns wer't working, so was like "wtf this safety thing has a bug, doesnt even work in low", set it to red and blew the venture up, then get warp scram by concord, fuuuuck i'm in 0.5 lol

i'm such a ****** that this ******-proof thing designed to stop retardedness wasn't any help for me LOOL

anyway the guy didn't even warp even with +2 point bonus to the venture, so that's a waste of a new design

Not slow, in fact many of us are worried about the opposite, undocking in a rush to get into a fight only for the ship not to shoot cos the safety has turned back on.


CCP knows this and said even before release that they would make it persist between log ons, so you would only need to change your setting once. They just couldn't do it for launch.

If the guns didn't shoot in your fight with the safety on, CONCORD would have killed you, the button only stops actions that causes you to become flagged. I can still shoot any valid target that I want. So undocking in a rush to get into a fight usually means that I am not rushing to suicide gank, which if that is what you are doing, that is fine as well I guess. It would just mean that maybe you should just HTFU and L2Gank? Blink


Your response tells me you spend very little time in low sec, us -10 types in low sec tend to be shooting positive sec people who may not have shot at us yet. In a fleet fight you need fast responses to primaries, in a roam or a camp you need to get the guy locked/pointed fast and first time.


My low sec time is spent just traveling through on a shopping trip carrying things back out to null where we don't worry about things like Concord.

I vote making the safety on icon a pink unicorn. Make the green button for safety disengaged.
