Self Sustaining Corporation PLEX

I'd like to establish a plan that allows my corp members to gather enough isk to buy one PLEX per month in order to play 'for free'.

We're primarily a mining/small industry corp based in HiSec with about 6 members. Not exactly a show stopping force. I have a couple ideas but I wanted to ask your help in choosing an efficient path as I imagine this has been done 40,000 times over.

Mission running seems to be pretty popular; running level IVs with a salvage crew.

Mining seems labourious but doable with maybe so low level manufacturing.

WH are beyond our capabilities as it 0.0.

Incursions seem very hard to get into.

I don't think it's that commonplace. Getting one plex for a personal account is hard enough, for the whole corp will be much harder.

You've also eliminated all the good moneymaking activities / places.

you can do it with mining alone and you could do it as a group it shouldnt be as boring as solo

you can also run L4 missions as a group you should storm through them

once you get skills and standings high enough station trading and industry will be the easy way to earn plex a month, throw in PI and you are pretty much set up

best way i know to almost passively make income for yourself is planetary interaction. I have to admit I don't know what it's like in empire but in 0.0 a single account with two PI characters on it can pay for a couple plexes a month. I would assume that if your members primary character can do PI and they make 2 more alt characters just for PI purposes, they could likely buy at least one plex per month.

All the options you list involve you engaging NPCs. (NPC ships or asteroids.) The problem with that is they don't scale well. You can only run a mission this fast, you can only kill this many NPCs or mine this many rocks in an hour. There is a hard upper limit to the ISK you can get.

If you want to get enough to PLEX your account and then some to spare, you will have to look into scaleable activities - and that means interacting with other people. You don't necessarily have to go and shoot somebody's house up, but look into careers like trading, hauling, arbitrage, industry, moon reactions. None of these have a hard upper limit, you get returns based on the ISK you put in. The more you invest, the more you gain. And if you follow the profit spiral, sooner or later you will get to the point when you can comfortably afford a PLEX a month.

Just a word of warning mate, this can be a bit of a trap.
I joined with the intention of plexing my way along, and after a while it turns into a 'second job' where you're only playing to meet your quotas and deadlines!
Even in hisec you will get ganked and this really hurts when you're on a tight budget, and can set you back.
Giving up on the targets improved things a ton. I subbed for the year and now play to to do whatever I want!
I have assets of several billion ISK and don't mind losing the occasional shiny.
Just one point of view for you to factor in:)

It is very possible to make enough ISK in the game to buy a PLEX every month inside the game. But, here is the thing, you are trading real life time to do it. If you have lots of spare real life time then go for it but will all your corp members have that extra time as well?

Before I get into all the different ways to make ISK in the game I am curious as to the original idea.

Are you hoping to have the corp provide PLEX to everyone in the corp or are you hoping to have the corp income provide you with a PLEX every month?

the easiest way to make PLEX is scamming, as long as you know what you are doing and how to do it, since you can make absolutely massive amounts of money this way but it is a bit erratic

personally scamming is wrong and i wouldnt do it (much)

I have to go with this as well. When I started, I took a good long look at all of the occupations in the game and what they offered. I found that the sole purpose of the majority of career paths was making isk. This was good and all, but a lot of those activities were also boring as sin. I also didn't like that for the first 600 million or so isk, you were basically in the red. It felt like I was earning a bunch of money, then communist China would come swoop in and take it all away from me. It felt like the first 600 million isk I earned each month wasn't actually my money at all.

So, I took an extra day at work (worked 8 hours this Christmas) and then promptly bought myself a year membership. So, eight extra hours of real life labor saved me an entire year's worth of grinding for PLEX. Or, in isk/hour terms, I made approximately 900 million isk an hour. I made enough extra to purchase a 'Power of Two' account as well.

Now all of the profit I make is actually mine to keep and I don't feel taxed or pressured to play every single day just to earn my keep.

I know working an extra day in real life isn't a feasible solution for everybody, but if you look at it from an isk per hour angle when compared to everything else in Eve, it really is the most efficient solution outside of large scale corporate scamming for billions upon billions of ISK.
