Hi everyone,
I'm not new to EVE but new to using the official forums provided to corporations. I would like to manage who has access to the provided "Board Room" sub forum, but I don't want to make everyone who should be able to see it a director. Is there any way to do this through other roles?

Short answer: No.

I have read that a while ago, and it says directors, but it also mentions access by roles. It doesn't specify exactly how roles are used and it doesn't say if there is way to decide who can access that section aside from just who is a director, which is why I was hoping someone else might know.

I really hope that they add a way to have more control over it. It's really convenient to have the forums provided to use, it's just kind of limited as far as controlling things.

By roles CCP means CEO or director flags.

The forums are very limited, so most corps setup their own web sites with forums. I think some people may offer such sites (and voice coms) for ISK too. Search the Sell Orders forum.
