hi i just wanted to ask if it is okay to buy gtc or plex from amazon, just heard there were authorized sellers n wanted to make sure

There are etc retailers. Stay away from buying PLEX anywhere other than CCP.

Game codes (GTC) it's ok to purchase from authorized retailers. You can convert them to PLEX in-game once you've applied them to your account.

PLEX, though, you should only buy from CCP, through the account management page.

AFAIK Amazon is NOT home to any authorised resellers. I would be very VERY wary of buying from there. Trust me.

Confirming that Amazon is not on the CCP list of official resellers.

What you are looking at is most likely a RMT laundry system.

And if it is a RMT laundry offer and you buy from it and get caught. CCP will take at least the amount of ISK you gained from it from your wallet, even if that means your wallet goes negative.

And believe me, with a negative wallet you can't do very much anymore with your character. As even market selling and buying costs money and as you have none...go figure.

I'm not sure you guys understand how amazon works...they have a specific thing going with eve where your amazon account can link directly to your EVE Online account. The PLEX comes directly from Amazon as a company - it isn't sold by a third party.

Pretty sure they wouldn't have a service like that if it was a scam, lmao.


Funny how amazon isn't listed on that retailer site even though they get amazon specific ships for most of the EVE retail items....Guess those are scams too.

As Lisabet said, buying (directly) from Amazon is fine. Some of the advices in this thread are a bit uninformed. But feel free to petition the issue and get a definitive response straight from CCP.
