I would just like to say thank you to CCP, the devs, GMs, ISDs, CSM. Your hard work and dedication to our playground is very much appreciated by this pilot.

I've been gaming since Pong. Nothing even comes close to the energy, the thrill, the pure adreniline that this game can be. I don't know if I'll ever turn on my Xbox again. I already know I don't miss it.

So I just wanted to say thanks.Big smile

Been playing games since Pong as well.

This is the only MMO I've ever played, and will most likely remain so.

I don't mind at all the cash I've poured in across 4 accounts for 3 years. The development and changes have always been worth it.



next day addendum:

The only hateful time was indeed the release of Incarna with it only 1/4 finished and staring at that rusty door for 6 months with no Station Hanger view. That was indeed hideous. BUT, I still would not have missed the player reaction hoopla for anything. It was pretty incredible and I was actually glad to be involved during one of online gaming's most interesting and unique episodes. Leave it to EVE to deliver even when things go awry.

I completely agree with OP. I have only on problem with EvE, and it's self inflicted..... I didn't try it sooner.

I work as a software developer. CCP runs their show as my anti-employer, and I will be forever jealous. You guys truly rock.

Well I think some people are taking this [game] a little bit too serious.

Tip: if you get annoyed/angry/feel you're the middle point of a big conspiracy all the time, maybe its wise to take a break. Smile

I too would like to thank CCP for the many years of entertainment and adventure they have provided for us. Their continual advancement of our EVE lives is a pure reflection of their desire to make the universe a better place for use to roam around in, not just because its their job :) they enjoy seeing what we have been, what we are, and what we can become as the universe continues to evolve around us. anyone that whines about the pure dedication of the devs, should probably find something else to do with their time because the rest of us are thankful and enjoy what we are given. i have not yet seen the new gifts that we have been given by CCP but i am sure that they will be fun to use time and time again once i get back from vacation.

Fly safe and have a Merry Christmas to everyone in EVE Online and the Devs of CCP

You haven't experienced hardcore gaming until you've had the nerve wracking anxiety of navigating an EVE Online right-click-menu while adrenaline is pumping away in the middle of getting shot at by 20 blood thirst players. Twisted
