The worst noise in the history of music!

Overall th sound effects have improved somewhat in Retribution,

but CCP you don't really expect anyone to enjoy that lame 70s Synthesizer noise that numbs your eardrums when you activate the Acceleration Gates for a Mission? This garbage has been in the client for years.

I actually left the noise on in one mission to see when it would stop, even after I turned the mission in, it kept going.

Why would you weigh down the client for years on end with that junk What?

Obviously you've never listened to Gamelan.

Give a man a match and you warm him for a day.

OP seems to want to PVE to the sounds of Justin Bieber.

Surprised?

Obviously nobody's listened to Gamelan. Cry

It makes no sense whatsoever.

Graciously translating your post into what CCP asks for; useful & mature critique/feedback.

"I feel that the sound effects in Retribution are an improvement over the older content.

However, contrary to this, I find the "synthesizer" style sounds that are activated when you go through an Acceleration Gate in a mission do not complement my musical tastes. I also discovered that the music seems to have no ending, though I should probably have raised this as a bug report in case it is an issue worth investigating.

I feel that the client would benefit from an update regarding the music in missions to bring it closer to the modernised feel that the Retribution expansion brought to EVE Online."

Alas, computers are not yet capable of running more than one program at a time, right?

I love the ambience of eve - I discovered the game through a link to the music page and it dragged me in ever since...
EVE could do with some additional music though.

Have you ever heard the music played in Nullsec? some of it's cool, like it's from Dead Space, but then there are these deafening whale call violin sounds every few minutesUgh

The ambient music is nice, the Mission music - Oops

maybe they actually keep track of the players that listen to that noise, then make them the butt of their jokes at the pub. Yeah there's no other logical explanation Roll

If I zoom in on my Typhoon, it sounds like a fox hunt going on inside.
Horns and everything!

The ship and missile explosions are cool, though some sound effects are clunky, I still can't figure out what that short screeching sound is, the one you get every 10 seconds when fighting mission NPCs, sounds like some one getting electrcuted

Edit; Figured it out, the electrocution sound is the Non Capsuleer Log Off Timer
Shocked
