The best Turrets/Missile Launchers?

Hi all,

I've heard that the Neutron Turrets for the Gallente are among the best to have.

I'm wondering which is the equivalent weapons for the other races?

Also, the turrets/Launchers alone don't maketh the the weapon the best, so what's the best ammo?

I've heard that Null or Void ammo, along with a Neutron is good, but is there any better?

"best" something in this game is sorta relative, unless it's the Orca.

Neutrons are the highest damage and longest range, but they have subpar tracking compared to Electron blasters. They also require more fitting which can necessitate utilizing less tank.

Best ammo is, also, rather up to the situation. I personally find that Null is a good ammo to have loaded as a start. Generally if I know I'm going to be up in someone's face I'll reload to Faction Antimatter ammo. I generally don't use Void ammo much except in times when it makes sense to use it.

TLDR: There is no best weapon or ammo, nor should there be.

Thanks for the info guys.

I guess it's a case of buy one and see what it's like.

I always look at the info when purchasing new weapons, normally for how big the range is.

I'll look into it all in more depth.

If you're PVPing I would recommend trying out a shield fitted Thorax with null ammo. From what I understand they are insane fun to kite in. I'm trying to get some of our wonderful logistics guys that are so helpful and I appreciate a lot to bring a few hulls down to our staging area to play with.
