I am manually checking my bank accounts and I'm seeing a slight error between my numbers and the in-game auto-count.

For the time period I am counting, I am off by .01 ISK. Now, my record indicates I have .01 more ISK than the in-game client says I have.

My question is how far does the game track ISK? Is it more than .00? If so, by how far?

If this is posted twice, my apologies, I received an error trying to post.

I think the game tracks 3-4 decimal places in some of the wallet functions so as to do more accurate percentages, maybe the difference has something to do with that.

But seriously .01 isk...

Its easy to make hundreds of millions of ISK in EvE, so that might explain the above responses.. and that 0.01 might have been lost in some rounding off somewhere.

But really, it's just a simulation and the likes of that +-0.01 error rate in accounting is good enough for a game like EvE.

I like to ensure 100% validation for my records. I wanted to make sure it wasn't a mistake on my behalf, so I wasn't wasting time trying to find the error. Something I've learned is that something small can be indicative of something larger, so I wanted to make sure it was system issued and not me forgetting something. This way I can ensure it doesn't happen again.

Also, misplacing .01 ISK is more a slap in the face than losing 1,000,000 ISK. I can replace the 1,000,000 but I am more shamed I can't count and find .01 and where it went. This explains that there is an underlying system that affected it, and wasn't my fault.

Thank you for your responses, this expains what I needed to know quite well.
