I for one cannot thank CCP enough for the buffs they have brought to low sec with gate mechanics and drones. It has truly been one awesome patch. Our Alliance participation is through the roof and the game seems to have new life breathed into it. If I can make but one slight suggestion to help compliment this and that is to make low sec worth going to again.

With fw at an all time high the only thing truly lacking in low is dedicated people whom live there and traffic. I for one would love a buff to sites and plexes and perhaps make a certain material exclusive to low sec regions exclusive from high or null. Id love peoples input on this because low sec is slowly becoming more and more dynamic.

Its refreshing seeing random groups coming in or the brave traveler. All low sec needs now is a little more love. With devilish thanks for the bounty you have given us bloodthirsty Pirates I thank you.

Yours in Crime,

Tara.

Warping away from the gates makes the gate guns deagress you, even if you fly back right away.

Yes, I agree, lowsec could use buffs to actually living in there. Superquickies:

Improving on NPC pirate corps and introducing new gameplay involving them (like being able to choose them as starter corps) and being viably able to be on their side more could be nice.

But first of all I'd put lower DED sites into lowsec. 3/10s, frigate sites, should definitely be available in lowsec for younger (and older) pilots. I'd also suggest moving L4s and 4/10s to lowsec, but I don't, since abloobloo carebear rage etc.

And make highsec islands to make piracy and anti-piracy real professions again. Safe trade logistics between major hubs should be a player-provided service, not an AFK-activity.

I think Rico Minali has some great, deeper-going ideas on bigger lowsec gameplay improvements somewhere in F&I, the place where good ideas go to die.

I'm still not sure why they removed the static ded plexes from low sec. High sec I could understand but they were a beacon for fights over loot drops in low sec. Having the entrance gate restrict ship types would also encourage people new to pvp to try it out because there was something good in the last room but the boss was a player not some fuckacta NPC...most people I beat up in there ended up learning something or I learned something after being beat up.

I always wished they would move all of them and add MORE to non-FW low sec and NPC null. It wasn't like you got a great drop every time in them but fighting for the dice roll was fun especially on the days where you'd get faction drops from player kills AND a daredevil BPC. Removing them removed a reason to fight and a money source to cover any losses.

Why in the world they would remove static ded 1&2 complexes from low sec in the same expansion as the new destroyers and redesigned frigates is beyond my understanding of the design goals here I guess...

They were removed because Overseers in many of them were perma-camped (botted?) by some tards for the loot drops, and not so much pvp.

But I agree with you, perhaps they should have developed the mechanics somehow to prevent the exploitation instead. FW plexes are great fightyards, why not have similar outside FW areas.

Yeah, the high sec ones I knew of should have been removed for that exact reason and players had no real way of preventing it other than the report button on bots. The low sec ones I imagine were camped by some decent pvpers...I know I camped the hell outta one for years. I only knew of one real exploit of sneaking into the back rooms without using the gates but that was also something players could stop in low sec. Just always have a spare key and in the worst case misfit a bomber and wait cloaked in there. I wouldn't even report them because the few times I caught one they were friggen packed with loot.

I would definitely love a 'low-sec/pirate' only type of resource around. Like maybe get booster manufacturing moved only to low instead of also having it even better in sov space.

Does railgun ammunition come in Hollow Point?

No I want more people living in low sec with me not in null. I could care less about null sec. If we had a rich thriving experience in low for Pirate and Carebear/FW player alike it could make for interesting and rich content which is what this game truly needs.

Please try to read posts thoroughly next time before rattling off something stupid.

Except there is a glaring problem in your imagined connection. The Carrbean was a major area and place of trade/commerce between bridging the Old World and the New World together. Sadly Low Sec is passed because there is hardly incentive to be there.

Only those whom seek a life of crime or quiter regions or the occasional good small gang fight come here anymore. Mostly you have just null fleets passing though avoiding fights altogether.

What we need is giivng people a legitmate reason to not only poke around in low sec but to stay there. A needed commodity, something to be a driving force in markets be it a new type of mineral or moon. Give people the reward for the risk. Who knows? You may even coax those lumering null sec kids to venture outside once in awhile instead of us going 20-30 jump only to have them all dock up at the first sight of a neutral.

Making level 5 agents more common in low sec could be nice along with the buffed booster production and returning the low sec static site things.

i used to get a ton of pvp with the 5/10 drone plex, there was a group that would run a cloaky bot into about 4 diff drone plex, it was always fun to disrupt them as try tried to go through the plex and then to sit at the stage they camped waiting for the bot to uncloak as it respawned plus there was a bunch of randoms you could usually get a fight from
