Secret Santa 2012 Gift Exchange

Hello, everyone!

I've decided to try to bring a secret santa exchange to the universe. I wrote a little webapp to support it, and would like to find other people interested in trying what is both a potentially fun and rewarding event.

Some important things:

Arrow At least for this year, the exchange WILL NOT be anonymous. You will contract your gift straight to your giftee. I would have loved to try to bring the secrecy, but this game is known for scams. If I were a middle man, no one would trust the system and this wouldn't be as epic as it might turn out to be.
Arrow All contracts need to be in a high sec system reachable from Jita by a pure high-sec route. All contracts also must not have any ISK exchange and must not request any items, give only.
Arrow Signups end on December 15 at 00:00:00 in EVE time. Matches will be available at some point before December 16 at 00:00:00.
Arrow Email address is completely optional, and will only be used to send reminder emails. If there were an API way to send an in-game evemail, I wouldn't ask for email address at all. However, if you leave this blank, please remember to check back.
Idea Do you want your own exchange that is specific for your corp or alliance? Eve-mail me and I'll hook you up.

You'll need to be in-game to sign up for the first time.

Any feedback or questions are welcome. I know the styling of the website isn't top notch, I hope to improve it over the weeks to come. Also note that I wasn't sure if this qualified as in-game or out-of-game. I chose in-game because it's an IGB-aware app and the actual exchange is in-game.

I went to the site outside the game and found I had to sign up in game, yet wehn Itried it I got a warning. So, tell me why. Please.

In the in-game browser, the website needs Trust. The popup warning is asking you to grant it trust. Once you've clicked the button and instructed eve to trust the website, just hit refresh on the page and the warning will go away, allowing you to sign up.

hi i asked for my gifts and now i want to return the favor and send a gift back to a person who do i asign the contract to also i sign up for the plex drawing

Sorry for the delay guys, I ended up moving in the middle of this, and never pushed the code live to do the matching. I will try to get that done today and shoot those of you who signed up an eve-mail when they've been made.

Participation was low this year, sadly, but hopefully if everyone has a good experience this year we can try again for some other special occasion.

I've sent out the matches by hand this year. We only had 7 total participants, sadly. I will be personally gifting each participant something on 12/25 as a thanks for giving this a try.

As for the PLEX drawing, I was really hoping it might drive up participation, but we ended with just 2 eligible participants in this thread (people whom replied before the signups stopped being accepted): Dracker Low and RauLeCruset8492.

Despite the low participation and my sadness that this didn't turn out to be epic, I am a man of my word. If I were smart, I'd have created Chribba dice ahead of time, but alas, I did not. The winner from my coin toss was Heads, which was RauLeCruset8492. On 12/25 you will get a PLEX contract from me.
