T1 frigs and cruisers after Retribution patch

Hi,

Background: In Retribution CCP introduced additional materials to production of all T1 frigs and cruisers except those that were the highest tier before the patch. ( In other words: frigs and cruisers do not reprocess to the minerals you need to produce them anymore )

Question: Why do so many marketeers still sell them for prices much lower than the minerals needed to produce them would be? I just don't get it. Am I wrong, or is it just that so many people are using outdated spreadsheets? If i'm wrong, were is the error?

Example: Taking the Arbitrator, there is a 2-3 mil ISK loss on each unit built after retribution and sold at the current price level.

Well, to clarify, may I kindly ask for verification of the following maths:

Reprocessing an Arbitrator with perfect skills:

in game numbers:
Tritanium 245,790
Pyerite 61,844
Mexallon 18,236
Isogen 4,184
Nocxium 1,001
Zydrine 229
Megacyte 55

Total Value range right now: 5.159.143,94 ISK - 5.153.810,76 ISK

Building an Arbitrator with a ML 14 blueprint ( not really perfect, but that's what i got so I can come up with in game verified numbers )

in game numbers:
Isogen [8028]
Megacyte [100]
Mexallon [37122]
Nocxium [2007]
Pyerite [90412]
Tritanium [401639]
Zydrine [502]

Total Cost right now: 9.410.730,16 ISK

Market Prices right now: 5.600.010,57 ISK - 6.665.989,98 ISK

I think that there are two common answers:

1: People loaded up on huge stocks of ships that they calculated would be rising in price and are selling them off for a profit to cash in on their (short term) investment.

2: People doesn't bother to actually calculate the value that exact, expect the market to be sane and sells around current market figures.

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.

it's 1.

in the last round of tiericide a lot of t1 ships had their mineral costs substantially increased. a lot of players made these ships with the old materials, and are now selling them at a profit even though the materials now cost more than the ships due to the fact that they were using the older, reduced, mineral costs when they created the ships.

The more important question for the future would be, does CCP see that as a little feature for the marketeers, or is it more likely that they stop doing this with the incoming ship rebalances?

Well imho, mineral materials had be adjusted.

The reason why the change came as additional materials is probably just to ovoid the situation where someone puts 1k cruisers into the cooker on Dec 3rd and reprocesses them after Dec 4th, and ends up with 1.3 - 1.4 times the amount of minerals he had before.

However I kind of like the approach, and would welcome if they introduced some extra materials to all the other hulls, too.
