Intro

I’ve been playing eve for almost 3 years now. I have 2 primary characters I play. I’ve done station trading, wormhole space, null-sec, and solo. I’ve been able to consistently make the most ISK buying and selling characters. The formula is no secret, I look for good characters that are missing long train time skills, bid for them, fix the training, and then resell.
Since I have to pay for the training months with plex, and the typical fix time is 1 to 3 months, and the char transfer fee is 2 plex, my cost per each trade is around 5 plex. For this reason I focus on characters that can resell for at least 10 to 20 plex over what I paid (after training).

The Plan

I’d like to scale up my operations from 1 char at a time to 4 characters – I have 2 active and 2 inactive accounts I can use for this.
Scaling up to training 4 characters at once will be expensive – as the max target purchase price is 22B (20B + 10% cost overrun), and total expenses per character will run about 3B. For this I will require 100B (4 characters X 25B) to fully fund this operation. To do this, I’m selling 100 shares at 1B each.

Projected Earnings and payouts

I’m looking for a target profit after fees of about 10B per character. The profits will be split 50/50, I will keep 50%, and the remaining 50% will be divided up and paid out as a dividend to all investors on record at character purchase time. This means there should be around 5B in dividends to pay out every time a character is sold, and with 4 characters in the queue at all times, we should have ~5% in dividends each month. This is an ongoing investment. All investors will continue to get dividends sent to them automatically. And as long as you don’t sell your shares back to me, you will continue to profit from the character trading. Since all profits are paid out immediately the value of the shares will remain the same.

Disclosures
Profits are not guaranteed to be 5% each month, they could be more or less, you will have full disclosure of character sale listings.

I will disclose all alts to interested investors. Investors can sell shares back at any time (with at least a week notice please), you will not receive dividends after selling shares back. You must be a shareholder when characters are purchased to be eligible for the profits on resale. Character purchases will be sent to each investor, including eve board link, estimated training time, and expected resale amount. Investors are welcome to provide advice. When characters are listed for sale on marketplace, all investors will be notified. Also all character bids will be placed by the same character, so following my buy/sell activity will be easy.
You will not be issued actual corporation shares, but your share ownership will be noted on the market place thread, or kept private, and per your wishes.

Future
Depending on investor demand additional character slots may be added and this will increase frequency of dividends.

Risks

Is this a scam?
No. Stealing ISK does not interest me in the slightest. Every ISK I've made has come from a legitimate trade, an NPC pirate, or looted from the smoking hull of some poor bastard that lost a fight. That’s about all I can say about that. I’m asking for folks to invest at least 1B, but please have a lot more ISK in your wallet - no investment is 100% risk-free.

What if PVP/PVE/Mining/Trading/Research/Wormhole Characters are no longer popular?

I sell PVP characters with a little bit of good PVE/Indy. If people don’t want this, I’ll adjust and sell what people want.

What if you get scammed buying a character?

Since I will use the marketplace, CCP should be pretty good about getting the money back – this will just cost us time.

What if you can’t resell at a profit?
I will make a decision to wait and keep training or liquidate at cost + expenses, either way we get ISK back. I browse the markets constantly looking for good prices from folks that are quitting or wanting something else, so I usually get a good price to begin with.

What if CCP decides to no longer allow character trades?
We are screwed then! Seriously I don’t see this happening, but if we get enough warning, obviously we sell before the termination, and return investor money.

What if you decide to quit Eve, get bored, whatever?
I will sell characters in progress, pay dividends, and return investor money. I don’t plan on quitting eve for at least a few more years.

What if the price of PLEX keeps going up?
This continues to happen, and this causes the price of characters to also increase, so it works out. What will happen over time is that the amount of skill points we get for ~20B goes down.

Two things : no collateral , no reputation in regards to loans wich in 99.99 % of the case will mean no loan specially when asking for the small sum of 100 B.

We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid.

this is bullshit and you know it... CCP does not secure any trades in MD

and the fact that you mentioned that to make trust in your "bond" makes look even more fishy...

You misunderstood him. He uses the character bazar, which CCP does secure.

Thanks for the feedback, MD readers. I'll do some research and figure out some ways to make the venture secure. Open to suggestions. Perhaps issuing corp shares to investors would be better.

If you can provide some sort of collateral, I'd be happy to fund the full 100b.
