Saw this on BBC about 10 mins ago...

"....Astronauts aboard the international space station "Mir" have reported an unusual object hurtling towards earth, as CNN and BBC have reported, and will collide with our planet today, on the 21.12.12 between, 2000 and 2200 hours. The point of impact is estimated to be somewhere on the east coast of North America....."

".....the object is several hundreds of kilometers in diameter and is presumed to be an asteroid....."

Well, I guess that's it....

The BBC also had David Attenborough (spelt right?) tell us that there is a species of penguins that fly to South America. They also did something on pasta trees.

You deserve that for fear mongering the gullible. While you may joke around about this end of the world bull crap there are thousands of people who do believe in it and a lot more that will take their own life and their family's lives just to 'protect' themselves from the pain of the so called event.

Play EvE how you want to play it and do not let others dictate how you play. Evolve your playstyle to protect yourself from others! Even in "PVE", "PVP" is there, lurking in the shadows.

This is the Mayan Calender,it just made the mistake of its life...
On any given century the Mayan Calender preys on the weak minded and gets away with it.

Quite funny. You read about the end of the world that's apparently coming and your first instinct is to calmy log in to a gaming forum and post something there. :P

Oh that would have been the BBC's coverage of the great pasta famine in Italy after the pasta crops failed there on April the first 1960ish. The sad thing about it, is that I remember it being broadcast.
