I'll have lost billions on Genoloutions by DT. No point crying over it. Themza breaks.


Besides, you can make ships do crazy **** with them. My pvp alt will be milking them instead.

After actually logging in, I don't know what OP is whining about. It is a different implant....

The original was a Perception/PG implant, the one given today is INT/CPU

Before switching to handing out skinned catalysts and iterons, CCP had reused a number of items that had been believed to be one-time issues in their promotions over the past 2 years (e.g. Apotheosis as a Power of 2 reward).

If you did truly believe that CCP would have qualms about reusing limited edition assets then you could have known better (by following their promotions around the world and the many angry forum threads about that behavior).

Yeah I saw that, I was pretty sure that I did my research when I invested. Unless It was said on the test server sometime or in some local chat I cannot find record of that anywhere...

Though many in the augmentation industry initially questioned the agenda behind Genolution’s entry into the implantation field, fears eventually subsided as the implant was shown to be one of the safest on record. Genolution went one step further to assuage fears however and vowed never to release the implant to open markets, providing only a single-run issue to capsuleers as a demonstration of the technology.

Yes, it does say they will be 'vigilant', it doesn't say that they are going to do something that is the opposite of the item description!

doesnt say that after the "demonstration" they wouldnt give out anymore of those. all it said was that for the demonstration of the technology you would only get 1 of each. which was and still is true. now they just gave you a new one as a present because they made so much money with the other stuff they sell that they wanted to give something back to the actively playing capsuleers.

Genolution also noticed single individuals stacking up huge amounts of the implants and keeping them from the actively using players which was another reason for them to release another batch as gifts.

Maybe this just means I will have to wait longer to make a profit, but can CCP please tell us if they are planning on seeding more?? or do i now have to sell my t2 bpos and state raven because they might wana seed them at easter??

That's my point, they have never re-seeded something of this value. Snowball launchers until now didn't do anything. These implants are a commodity that is usable and people understand.

Of course i't not asking for a forecast, but they have always given notice before of such changes! This was totally out of the blue and impacted this item by at least 30-50% in the medium term.

A valid question was asked: Will we seed more of the genolution implants?

Potentially. We really like them as a gift as they provide a nice little bonus but not something overwhelming. I don't know if or when we will use them, but I know we are keeping the option on the table.

Why was there no warning? Every other market related change has had some warning. Surely you must have known that this would effect people! Was it negligence or incompetence?
