Today's Patcher failed to patch

Client said it needed uploading, and with extended late downtime today I thought. "...oh-kay"

Patcher went through the usual then said "[title bar]Errors occurred[/title bar] See the logfile 'C:\Program Files (x86)\CCP\EVE\launcher\launcher.exe.log' for details"

That file says:

Is this a dodgy patch? do I neewd to manually remove it?

Please don't tell me i need to download the whole client again.

So I found a thread from yesterday's patching https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=184188

https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=2345355#post2345355 is the GM response, but a lot of folk suggested the Repair Tool at C:\Program Files (x86)\CCP\EVE\repair.exe (which needs run twice) and that did the trick for me.
