Some ships are less creative, a Rook became Jam's 'R Us ,
A hotdrop falcon " **** delivery" , ect.. Ect..

Did stop numbering fleet battleships, as in a long war it gets depressing naming a Geddon " Lazershow 6 "


Personally i find it more entertaining to go creative on POS names.


I would love to name my Ishkur something untoward in Tagalog...but that is much too long. :3

I named my Venture "Go Team Venture!"

In my Drake-flying days, I named mine "Aluminum Mallard", but while I no longer fly Drakes, I still use the the name. Roger Wilco still surfs the spacewaves...

... on that note, my salvager is named "S.C.S. Eureka".

My mining ship is named "Mein Kraft".

My Hawk is simply named "Kitty".

My personal shuttle is called "Narcissus". (Spot that reference)

Someone asked me a while back for a clever name for a Talos. I suggested "The Over-Compensator". Applies to all the Tier 3 BCs, come to think of it.

Some of the names in this thread are brilliant and put mine to shame. Well done lads and lasses! :-)

I use the Mind ship names from ian banks' culture novels and simar ideas. For example my. Sniping apoc is called 'Shout Louder.'

I also have a bomber pilot on my alt account. Once I am used to flying them I am intending on having my alt in a second bomber called: Now You Don't
