You can TRY and petition it. Though the chance of actually getting it is small.

I shall try that. Do you know average responce time for petitions? Apparently I have been bugging a few female characters because my name starts with "Tit" lol stupid but enough people have been bugging me about it that I rather not upset the female pilots or "pretend female pilots"

dude... thats hardlya valid reason to have to change your name. if peopela re complaining t you, theya re either just messing with you, or completely mental.

The response time depends on the petition type. It might take a while since it isn't an urgent matter, but it might be fast, since it's a simple matter. As for your problem, I don't think it's an issue with female pilots, I think it's an issue with stupid people who don't recognize roman names when they see them.

You have no chance of a name change unless it is deemed offensive by CCP.

They will tidy up stuff like capital letters but that's about it.

Edit - also you've had the name for 15 months Roll

The females who are bugged by it should petition you as having an offensive name, and you should petition including their character names saying they deem it offensive and you wish to change your name.

This will probably increase your chances of getting it changed.

Though CCP may just say "Ladies, learn some Latin." and do nothing.

EDIT: Also, good thing you didn't choose Titus Pullo as your name. They would have really had a problem with that, I'd guess.

I have been gone for about a year. I just returned 3 days ago and have been playing non-stop.

Haha, i thought about it when i made this character. I love that HBO series as you can see i have both the main characters in my name.

* Forced by CCP cause people petitioned your name as offensive and CCP agrees with them
* You made capital errors, in which case CCP will only change the capital errors but not a full name change.

Yeah I really can't see the issue with your name but better then hearing "run forest run" whenever you log in to comms.

Haha, Not gonna lie. If I found you on my Pirate/Terrorist Iand I had you on the run I would say it also.

Yea, Its been over year since I played so i thought I would ask just to check. I think its childish aswell but im very diplomatic when it comes to others grievances regardless of the lack of validity.

Really? Wow. There is a definite point of being too picky, and too PC. This is definitely one of those times.

TItus is a perfectly valid name. You shouldn't change it because of some people who might or might not have an actual complaint about it. They might just be saying something to get you to change the name you like for your character. Some people get their jollies in the strangest ways...

Edit:

Two guys from my high school were named Titus. One was a year ahead of me, and the other was two years behind. It's not just a Roman name from some TV show.

I've never heard of anyone complaining about or petitioning about the Titan ship class, despite it having the same three letter combination. And what about "petition" itself? Same three letters, yet no one complains.

Keep your character name.

Titus is not an offensive name. You can take this from a guy who is offended by nearly everything that is said in any general chat of any MMO out there.

If people are offended by it, can they report you? If so, I would guess that would get you a name change eventually.

Unless you just made your character, such requests are always going to be declined. Name changes otherwise happen only in the event of a violation of the User and character name policy.

Name changes granted to freshly created characters are only there to assist with typos and upper/lower case issues. Full name changes are not granted.
