Moving labs to another POS

Good day fellow capsuleers.

As I heard some people talking about this subject I wanna clarify something for myself here to be sure not to mess anything up.

Situation:
A system where corp owns Office, POS (medium) has been in place for long time. Things changed, new larger pos needed to be placed. Standings grinded faster than expected, new large tower anchored (in same system), onlined and operational. One week before new tower was placed I actually setup some jobs in the old tower (ME research) for a month. (Yes i know shoudl have planned that in advance)
All that is currently running there are the 4 labs doing research, and to be honest, with more than over a week to go, I feel that is a waste of fuel.

What have i heard:
When you unacnhor labs that have slots occupied with research, and you move them to another POS in same system (keeping the same name as well), the research will continue once they are onlined again.
No worries about contents of the labs as they are empty.

Question:
Is this correct? Can I just unanchor, scoop, move and relocate the Mobile and Advanced mobile laboratories, while research is going on in them which continues after I onlined the labs in another POS again?

No, unanchoring a lab with jobs in progress stops the job, you lose any gain from incomplete jobs.. You will have to restart the research from the beginning when you anchor the labs in their new location.

Ok, will keep the POS running in that case.

That little bit of extra fuel for those 8 days are worth the research done on those BPO's.
