WTF is going on here? we seem to be getting Wardec by everyone and their dog at the moment. i woke up this morning to the 5th wardec. you hear that... five wardec's all running at the same time. is their a paper out there at the moment called what to wardec where were at the top. we was a big and expanding company. over 150 members but because of all the wardec's every one has Quit eve, wondered off or gone inactive because this is depressing them. I guess this is because the powers that be decided that it was a good idea to do 2 things to the wardec system. 1st was to allow aggressors to retract the war when made mutual. this in turn makes dec shield no longer workable. (Which i never used any way but was considering it)
and second was to get rid of the accumulative cost on wardec's. originally for each corp to wardec a company the cost of wardecing the defending that company goes up.
We had a good company. we were new pilot friendly and helped train up new pilots by giving them free ships and equipment to get them on their feet and allow them in all sorts of mission running, mining operations. events and all sorts of social activities. we had a good solid structure and even had a corp newspaper which kept people uptodate on all the latest news and events going on. but its all gone to pot with these constant and never-ending wardec's from people who and i quote "want to do us a favour"
a drip of water can wash away entire countries over time and this tide is washing us away. i don't care if people wardec us any more. just pick a number and get in line. this has really destroyed the game for us and all our corp members. I would higher mercs but its just too dam expensive. I've opened up for allies. but need to get new mercs in each new wardec and they all want something like 100 mil per wardec just for a corp of one or two people. and even if they offer for free and i just accepted every offer that comes out on the plate then the accumulative cost i pay can get so high it would go way into the billions sometimes. this system is designed to destroy companies. and i tell you what... its working.

To be fair, wardecs don't really affect us that much. Wargets are bound to get a few kills from idiots not paying attention, but they deserve to die for being stupid & get no sympathy. Miniluv forms up to fight wartargets in between blowing up stupids but for some reason, said wartargets lose the will to fight pretty quickly.

You are a high sec corp and you have proven, through your killboard, that you are an extremely "soft" target. Therefore you will continue to be war-decced for maximum tear extraction. You might not like this, but that's simply how EVE is. It's a collection of lazy people all looking to pick the low hanging fruit, and you're it, buddy.

Things you can do that would solve the problem:

1. Quit EVE.
2. Quit your corp and join an NPC corp and be war-dec free
3. Stop recruiting useless people - although this is going to be hard since why would anyone "useful" want to hang around a bunch of care-bears? Be suspicious of anyone claiming to be useful who wants to join you.
4. Probably the most realistic option: quit your corp or get an alt, and join a real corp - one that does PvP. Learn to defend yourself and your assets.
5. Move to low/nullsec where war decs are not a big deal since they're not necessary to be shot at.

Honestly most of these high sec war-deccers are absolute push-overs. All you have to do is show willing to fight, and they will probably run and dock up and drop the wardec a few days later. But if you prove to be more of a push-over than them, well, this is what you get. They are after the satisfaction of denying you the ability to play or better still, extorting you so that you pay them a fee, which will eventually turn into "rent" because they or their alts will be back to extract isk from you on a regular basis.

However all this is happening because a) you are in high sec and b) your killboard efficiency is around 20%.

Do as others said and branch off asap into a low class wh or low sec and get your more advanced PVE people willing to do PVP. Maybe keep a presence there for the quiet times or consider a quieter system but as someone who's early Eve career was spent in a corp in that very system I will guarantee you will get frequent wars. If your corp is nothing but mission runners and miners you are a prime target not just for people looking to pad killboards but to those looking for excitement (as silly as high sec wars tend to be). Mission running/mining corps are dime a dozen in high sec and come and go because it just gets boring fast and people quit, especially after being holed up in station for a week or more.

Keep on doing your best. Sadly, the age of shooting people in highsec without being CONCORDed may be coming to an end. Unless you count things like suicide gankers and moronic can flippers.
