Notably yes.
Few industrials(like 5) are popped in Jita now, and freighter ganks have stopped.

Probably this +2 ^

I've been running my jump freighter on autopilot and it's probably fine. I realize that it technically possible to be ganked still, but it's much much much less probable now than it was before Retribution. Looks like empire space is not only the richest space but now much more fuzzy and safe. I don't really think that's a good thing, but at least I don't have to pay attention when I fly there now.

I was on my way to jita from Ammon...and...upon engaging warp from a star-gate to another star-gate...like ten noobs in catalysts tried to target me but couldn't get a lock before i entered warp..

Silly kids...they would have destroyed a worthless industrial that was 100% empty..

Highsec and safety go hand in hand !

And I am saying this as a trader who transport stuff at times.

I'd probably enjoy hiring escorts and whatnot as a compensation for the mere thrill of it. And yes, escort services (not THAT kind) would probably end up being very lucrative. And pirates etc would get more pew pew.

But, like always, Concord would have to go and pirates would in turn have to get certain high-sec restrictions as a compensation. The only one I could think of is pretty much station docking denial unless you bribe station officials.

All of this would fit in perfectly with the nature of EVE. Crimewatch is already in place so why not just go all the way CCP?

Maybe not completely remove Concord.

Remove standard response from 0.5 systems. Concord only responds to poddings. Add them to 0.4 with the same setting.

Sometimes people just make poor choices. I had a T2 fit T1 cruiser attack my JF in Zinkon solo the other day right by a station. I don't know what he was thinking. It was one of the weirdest things I've seen someone do in a while. I waited around to see if maybe others would come and try to take me out... but no one came. Just weird. What?

We already got that in the game. Its called Low Sec. (Other than the station docking thing).

Which brings up a question: Is low sec any safer for the hauler, mission runner or miner due to the effects of crimewatch on player behavior?

No, then later on, you rebuff concord back.

Then you'd have made 0.4 High sec instead of Low sec. Surprise ! More highsec!
