we have a station office in hs that used to be around 13 mill or so a month, (possibly a few years ago) and now its 355 mill a month did office frees increase alot by some stealth patch? the station we are in now has 9 offices free,

At what number of offices unoccupied will the price decrease per month, if at all?

I don't spend enough time paying attention, but I have noticed station fees for offices to go wildly sideways from time to time. Not sure what causes it.

Best bet, is to not have an office, then CCP can't randomly increase the price on you and have your auto-pay kick the ISK at it. Lol

From the EvE Wiki

Quote:
The office price is changes daily (at downtime) based on the number of free offices in the station. If no offices are free, the price goes up by 5%; if one office is free, the price stays the same; if more than one office is free, the price drops according to this formula: (Free_Offices - 1) / 23 * -5 (results in % change). The maximum drop per day is -5%, which happens when all offices are free. The minimum office rent is 10,000.00 isk.

Have you look at the price of a jita office?

Yea, you have it easy.

All automated intel should be removed from the game including Instant local/jumps/kills/cynos for all systems/regions.Eve should report nothing like this to the client/3rd party software.Intel should not be force fed to players. Player skill and iniative should be the sources of intel.

Pfft... where? The ones I've rented tend to be around 2 to 3 mil. Which isn't expensive but it's not 100k either.

This. Loads of 10K a month offices. Use station vaults.

I thought was based on:

1. traffic in the station (dock/undock)
2. services in the station

for instance station with high level agents/mission hubs seems to be always far more expansive, regardless for the number of free office slots.

When did the pricing change from number of offices rented to system traffic and services?

jita 4-4, to rich for my blood...

But as far as isk sinks go....

Its possible the other people with offices there where hiring mercs to beat the other people who got offices there senseless to keep there combined office fees down.

or maybe that's just my paranoia, A possible increase in isk sinks could be ccp doing something like increase the number of offices in certain locations and just do a straight office fee, say jita office for flat 650 - 700 mill a month. and double the number of currently available offices.

Or to skew trade away from jita double or triple the number of offices in rens, hek amarr, and maybe dodixie primary trade stations.

Thank you; I am glad the principle that posts with incorrect information can be deleted is now firmly established.

The majority are at lowest possible base cost.
