We have received several applicants over the past few days, many of which have been blank. This impedes the approval process, as we want to ensure you will make a good fit and that you will be happy in our corp. I understand the impulse to travel the path of least resistance, but this is an important decision, not just for us, but for you as well. Please provide some basic information abou yourself when applying, such as where you are located (or your timezone), your chosen career path, and the types of operations that interest you the most. Also, please don't hesitate to contact me in-game before applying and we can handle the process that way as well.

It's been almost two weeks since I posted this. We've been very busy since then. We're up to twenty members, but we have room for plenty more if you're excited about joining a corp that has a remarkably helpful and friendly group of players. Truly without drama, I can say that every member has shown an incredible interest in contributing to the corp and their corpmates; that kind of positive energy and attitude are what we are about, and we're looking for more like it!

Currently, we have a strong mix of new and experienced players, leaning on the experienced side. We have a few members in college and the rest are in their 20s and 30s. We now have a steady presence with members from both NA and EU. Our experienced members have a range of different backgrounds, from nullsec life to high-yield mining and industry. Many have been around steadily for three, four, five years.

Soon, we'll be anchoring our first player owned station in a highsec system. Without sharing too many defails, we feel this is a very good next step for us, and we're working hard to ensure all members meet the standing requirements, though a few may need to leave temporarily as we anchor it. We continue to do mission running and are focusing on some of the more unique missions that have been lost to time. We have a full array of miners, so if that's your calling, you've got some corpmates waiting for you here.

One area we could really use more members for are security operations and logistics; fighter pilots in general would also be a welcome addition. I'd like to note our alliance is also recruiting. Draconian Covenant has a long and vibrant history in Eve and is under excellent management. Time flies in Eve...

We are still recruiting but we have grown to a pretty decent size. We now have a player owned station in a nice system just a few jumps from Jita. We have a good mining operation in place. We're still mission running (mostly Caldari Navy). Soon, we'll be getting into industry quite a bit. And we're just enjoying our new home...shooting each other outside our little bubble to see who can destroy who first. :-)

In other words, we've all become pretty good friends. At the same time, there are a lot of new faces we're getting to know, and we're happy to include anyone else that is interested in joining! All we ask is that you bring a positive attitude and a fair sense of play with you.

Given the day, I guess I should end with welcoming our DUST counterparts. (Haven't yet figured out if "dust bunnies" is derogatory or not, ha.)

I've been part of Fire.Inc for a month now and it is without a doubt one of the most friendly and supportive corps I've seen in a while. On top of that we're part of an Alliance that is led by Natassia up there and it too is rather awesome.

If you're interested in co-operation and a good atmosphere, I'd recommend you get in contact!

Interesting message, Bergin. Out of respect to others (they know who they are), I will not make much of a response to you in this forum thread. Bergin is a disgruntled former alliance mate and I will simply leave it at that.

To others, yup, I've lost some ships. I've lost some expensive ships. I don't quite see the point, as each have context.

As for the one last night, I fully expected to lose that ship as we had put together an op to try to defend against a merc corp that had wardecced our alliance. That ship wasn't meant to last for very long; just long enough to do what damage we could to a group of much more experienced PvP'ers than ourselves.

My corp made me very proud last night. Kills or not, the effort and willingness to defend our corp was humbling. We make the best of our circumstances, adapt, learn, and continue moving forward. And given not a single member has left due to this wardec, I'd say that's more a testament to how much they enjoy our corp than anything I could say.

And as a sidenote, this thread hasn't been updated because we aren't going to recruit anyone into our corp while we're in an active state of war. Cheers.

Wow. It takes a lot to get Jacob riled up like that. I'm not sure I've ever even seen that side of him before!

I, along with probably everyone else, would not want to see this sort of thing spill over into the forums, so I hope we can just move on now and continue focusing on more positive things. I really did not want to say anything that doesn't really have its place in this thread. But...

For the record, Bergin isn't a thief, but someone in his corp was, and from what I know of the situation, he did right by those affected. He is however one of two primary reasons we left the alliance. Laughing about one of my closest in-game friends losing a ship seemed rather juvenile and disrespectful; it was an instant game-changer for me. That, coupled with other things, caused a rift that simply could not be repaired.

This thread needs to be bumped. These guys are great. Half considering leaving my love of RvB for them, definitely my top choice. Amazing corp.

Hello, everyone.

I am happy to announce that we are once again opening up recruiting, but we are at war. I do not like recruiting members during wartime given my early experience in the game (as shared in my original post) so we discontinued recruiting for close to two weeks. At this time, however, I feel circumstances have improved in many ways and that with adequate knowledge, those that wish to join us should be able to do so.

About Our Wars

We have been at war for over a week. With 70+ members, only two have left as a result. This to me says far more than I could ever say about how much our members appreciate what we have built together. They're willing to go to great lengths to defend and protect it. It is humbling and gratifying, to say the least.

We are in two wars. One is with a merc alliance, and another with a one-man corp. Both have ties to each other. These wars are the result of internal conflict within our former alliance. The corp(s) responsible for these wars are holding an unwarranted grudge and attempting to grief our members into leaving. They've failed.

Early in the wars, we engaged them in fleet three times, and we admittedly took some pretty heavy losses. We were not prepared for conflict so soon, but we have quickly adapted. We've hired our own merc alliance to keep the other mercs busy, which has been a successful campaign. We've also gone to great lengths to safeguard our members, which too has significantly improved.

As for the one-man corp, it is an alt purchased by a former alliance mate within the bazaar of these forums. He lacks the skill and experience to be commanding a character with the skill points it has, and has already made several critical errors in the process. We are deep thinkers, however, and are prepared for any changes to the composition of that corp.

Some Corp Changes

We've been in the process of restructuring in the past few days. We have created several different corps to better organize the many different paths our players have taken. This was not done to avoid conflict, as we're well aware these corps can and likely will be decced at some point. The end result of this restructuring is to form an alliance with ourselves, which we may open up at a later date to other corps that share our ideology. but that is not planned for the immediate future.

Seeking PVP'ers

At this time, we have an obvious need and desire for experienced pvp'ers. If you're new and learning, you're certainly welcome to join us. We have some stipulations in regards to pvp. First and foremost, if you're a long-time player with a "know-it-all" attitude, we really have no place for you with us, as you would harm the friendly atmosphere we have created. Second, we do not allow senseless griefing. We are okay with lowsec roams as long as the targets you pick are "fair fights." We also don't mind attacking those with suspect or criminal flags, but feel that podding should be limited to war targets and criminals only.

This is a policy not shared by most in Eve, but it is our policy, and it is not likely to change. It is a founding principle of our corp. We're trying to build something meaningful and strong without engaging in some of the behaviors that are leaning too far into the other spectrum of this game.

Seeking Friendly Players

We're a diverse group, who have many interests. We have a large mining fleet and many pve players. We welcome new players and do our best to mentor them. We explore many aspects of game play, so feel free to contact us if you are looking for a new home with respectful, mature players who have an insane amount of fun together, laughing a great deal and forging pretty strong friendships.

In Closing

The large majority of us feel a bond to this corp that is not easily broken. Two wars have failed to do so. And we've adapted and created policies that help ensure the safety of our members while also defending vigorously what we have created together as a team. We hope you'll take a look at us and consider joining us. We're here to stay, no matter how difficult things may be at times.
