I am pretty sure it is a fungus of some kind, I just do not know what kind. Any help in identifying it would be appreciated.

It is growing on a fallen rotting tree.

Looks like it might be a type of yucky white fungus, but I'm not an expert.

I tried googling "yucky white fungus," but just got a bunch of sites about yeast infections What? Was worth a try though.
