I have flown with almost every incursion community available. Lately I find that when I look for fleet I look at ISN first, and when they do not have anything happening, I choose to go do something else. A few of my reasons:

- I have yet to see people being trolled about their fits. The ISN community is helpful and respectful towards even the most terrible failfits. Officers spend time and effort to correct people.
- I have seen how ISN community gives mods and even ISK to help people cross that last bridge towards a good functional fit. I have seen where ISN Princess buys unsuitable ships off players to help them get into a decent ship. I have not seen this done anywhere else.
- I have seen where ISN members donate ISK to members of other communities when they lost their ships. And these pilots have never even flown with ISN.
- I have been in an ISN fleet where the other contested fleet warps off and abandon members inside the site. The ISN FC ordered the fleet inside and the ISN Logies saved that pilot.
- I have seen over and over how ISN leaders work hard to transfer knowledge and skill to new pilots. No trolling, no shouting, no rude comments. Leaders that lead and do it well.
- Some other communities claim loudly they have the best Logies in the game. In ISN fleets I have seen proof that ISN Logies are the best. I have yet to see them fail at catching late broadcasts. I myself lagged out once and did not see I was being shot. They caught it early and kept me alive. In another community in the same situation I lost a ship, and the comment from their Logies were "why are you in a pod?". At other well known communities the attitude is: if you don't broadcast or late broadcast your loss is your own fault and "broadcast once then die in silence". At ISN it is completely different, every effort is made to save your ship. You will earn yourself an F and a stern warning, but you still have your shiny ship.
- I have yet to see FC who's badge has gone to his head. I have yet to see or hear a FC that is rude to and belittles his fleet. I have yet to see a FC that claims he is "too good an FC". I still have to find one that is even slightly incompetent.

ISN are often called the "goons" of incursions. ISN is far from that. ISN wins contests, because they are good, and they work to be the best. Not half the fleet work hard and the other half leech, ISN fleet members all bring their cookies to the party. Because they want to.

So, if you want to be the best, and be rewarded for that, then fly with ISN. If you want to semi-AFK, fly cheap, and simply want to make a few mill quick in lazy mode, then don't fly with ISN.

I would ike to thank you for sharing your ISN experience. And on a side note, a rather funny one, i am a Goonswarm member however anyone familiar with me claims im trolling, but its true! :)

Ran a few ISN fleets the other day for the first time and the difference between them an other groups is night and day. Running HQ sites with a full squad of vindicatiors totally shredded the rats. Amazed at how quickly everything was melting. Logis were on a whole other level as well. Just seconds after broadcasting I was flooded with repairs and cap

Only down side is they run fewer fleets and it's all euro tz so I will only be able to get a few fleets a week but hopefully they can keep growing

I would tend to agree.. But I also see this topic as one where people can come and share their experiences with ISN. This evening I made some 400 Mill, ad we had an awesome fun Mining OP when someone took down the MOM just as we entered a site.. Glad to see astroids, we quickly deployed 3 orca's and a minor fleet of mining ships, with a rather expensive protection fleet.
To mine the one astroid with our precious ore we need for our incursions.

It was a fun evening, it was a good evening, it was a ISN evening!

Optimal 7 sites per hour with 18.2mil per site (Total of 127+mil an hour, pretax)

Headquarter:

Average 4 sites per hour with 31.5mil per site (Total of 126+mil an hour, pretax)

I started running with ISN a couple weeks ago and am always very impressed by how well-organized our fleets are and how smoothly everything runs. I was new to incursions when I joined, but people in ISN Secondary were quick to answer any questions I had and linked ISN-approved fits for my Machariel as soon as I asked.

We've won every contest that I've been part of, and we rip through sites a lot faster than the TVP fleets that I've tried out. Also, seeing dozens of Machariels, Nightmares, and Vindicators on grid is always an awesome sight.

Thanks ISN for saving me from missions and making me some good spacebucks.

ISN has been a great source of fun and income for me for a little while now. I wouldn't trade doing sites with these guys over anyone else, and here is why:

Yesterday, in an HQ fleet, we warped into a preloaded (TCRC?) site. The FC thought the site might be preloaded, so he went in first to get the agro so everyone else could enter the site relatively safely. Well, he didn't. I guess the NPCs decided I was a better looking target, and it took until I was ~50% into armor before the logis and spider tanking BSs were able to overcome the incoming DPS and save my ass. What does this show? 1) without the ISN required fittings, I would have been dead. 2) without awesome logis that know their stuff and don't wait for everyone else to go into the site first, I would have been dead. 3) Having "broadcast if yellow boxed" drilled into my head from the various FCs probably didn't hurt my chances Blink . Getting a full room lock from a preloaded HQ site unexpectedly is no joke, yet I lived to fight another day (and the rest of that day). That was the first time my ship (a Mach BTW) had ever been into armor and I have flown many VGs and HQs with ISN.

So basically TL;DR: if you wanna lose your ship, fly elsewhere, because these guys wont let you if they can help it.

So if I can fit T2 guns and can sit in a Machariel with 70% resists I'm good? Don't you have mandatory DPS/tracking? Can I just rig for extra resists? Fit a DC in the lows, etc.? Or do you have actual guidelines for a minimum of DPS and certain rigs, or a must-have SEBO or something.

Before you spend a lot of money on a ship and rigs, defiantly join "ISN secondary" as Yimodo suggests. The requirements might seem steep at first, but you wont regret meeting them.

I was there as Logi.
On another note, ISN is the place to be to kill lots and lots of Sansha.

I wish you all would reconsider allowing the rattlesnake to join in.

Perfect dps rattlesnake pilot and I still have to deal with other communities.

Since the drone upgrades came out and you all moved up to assults seems like the RS tank using ecm would finally get some love.

The problem with the Rattlesnake is the delayed DPS from missiles. This means DPS will be lost, mainly in contests lost DPS is mostly losing the site so less ISK.

However in some HQ fleets we do allow 4 slots for meta 4 or missile ships, so if you keep an eye on ISN Secondary you could get a spot from time to time.

An other option is switching to one of the other Pirate battleships, if you are close to using T2 guns its also a possible to start with faction guns (after the officers give permission to do so ofcourse)

Since you already have Caldari BS skills, you can easily start training for the Nightmare and faction Tachyons, which would take a few days. Once you have the basic skills, we can add you to our faction guns list while you train for T2 guns.

ISN is undoubtedly the friendliest incursion group. They offer very helpful fitting advice, and many are not afraid to loan or donate modules to get you in the best fit possible. The FCs are professional and care about making sure everyone warps out alive.

All in all a very professional yet laid-back group that is a pleasure to fly with.

ISN has an Aussie FC who is now running missions in a non-EU time area - pricipally either just before & after DT.

Being a fellow Aussie I'm probably slightly biased, but I've found him to an awesome FC who runs an efficient fleet & is particularly helpful to newer players. The other night I saw him train up a Logi pilot who had never flown Incursions before & within a few sites the guy was flying like an almost seasoned Logi pilot.

I hope you join us & pass the word.

I have flown with ISN for right at a year now and have made a lot of isk in that time. The fleets are always professional, minus the time or 2 we tried to role play in an assault site and nearly lost my tornado lol. That being said I love the community and the friends I have made. ISN is a great group of pilots and good people.

Due to certain complaints concerning my +1 from earlier, here is a full sentence in which I explain, using too many words, that I like ISN.

Edit: which I do.
