Hello i am a new character have only 1,7 mil sp can use t2 tank mods but not guns or missile so this is my question (I am curently in null sorunded by blue mostly blood raider space but can also rat in some serpentis areas)

1. The drake has a good t2 tank but low dps 300 ish with hams so do i need a naga for more eficient belt ratting? ..if so can you link a good fit?..take into consideration that large BS blodd rats neut (its HELL)

2.For forsaken hubs a tengu will be splendid but 2 months for proper training so i am thinking is the ROKH any good? can it SOLO forsaken hubs in serpentis (ideal)or blood area?...can you link a ROKH fit?:D

...for the naga i was thinking: - 8 meta 4 t1 blasters
- 2 hardeners npc specific 2 named large extenders 10ab
- 3 mag stabs
-rigs well 3 core def field extenders
.... for the rokh no idea wich would be good all missile skils are at 3 4 all gunery skills are at 3,4,5
TY in advance for your future response...hope i will be able to eat decent BACON soon :)) Shocked

There seem to be alot of posts like this so to save time I will link the last tread that was similar and save folks some time. Read this https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=2307166#post2307166 . I will say however that if you only have 1.7 mil SP you should not be flying a rohk, or a tengu for that matterRoll....with that low SP, I dont even think you could fit large turrets let alone use them effectively.Ugh

If you fly a ship you don't have the SP to use effectively, it will explode more often.

A good buffer tanked drake should be fine for most things while you skill up.

Minmatar....we are generally unpleasant to be around....

yes, yes. Both assuming that your tank skills and gunnery skills are up to par. Naga has a fairly weak tank by design.

If you have your heart set on Caldari blaster boats, training the Ferox might be a better idea than the Drake, since the Gunnery skills will transfer to a bigger ship.

When it comes to ratting in nullsec, range is your friend. Forget about blasters on the Naga and go with 425s. For Blood Raider space a Tachyon fit Oracle is a very good option. The ship has excellent damage projection even with low gunnery skills thanks to the awesomeness of Tachyons, has good maneuverability, is cheaper than a BS and can use T1 crystals so you never have to stop ratting to go get more ammo.

This person has obviously never flown a Vindicator for nullsec ratting.

The OP is new character with very low SP, my suggestion was based on his situation. Roll

Naga with blasters will eat through belt rats, and you can do forsaken hubs in them, although if I'm not mistaken it has enough slots for 10mn AB, 2 large shiled extenders and 3 hardners, also try purgers instead of extenders.
