So, Apotheosis soon gonna be worthless thanks to Buddy Promotion?

As you read the Buddy Invite Page, you can see that there is currently running a promotion where you also get a ship on top of your usual reward.
I keep getting told that the ship in question is the apotheosis shuttle, but if anyone would be able to provide some hard reliable intel i would be thankful.

Unfortunately, with the inviter getting a free plex once the invitee goes full account, everyone with enough isk for a single plex can make an unlimited amount of buddy invites go full account.

And as we have seen with the CSM election or with Quafe Zero there are people that are gonna abuse the sh*t out of that.

If anyone at CCP reads this and feels like replying, some info on how you plan to keep players from abusing this would be sweet.

And for the specially abled:

Buy PLEX
Send Buddy Invite to own E-Mail Adress
Make account with link from E-Mail
Contract PLEX with old account to new account
Accept contract
Use PLEX
Get rewards on old account
Sell PLEX
Sell Apotheosis

Result: 1 New Account with 51 days of gametime + whatever an apotheosis is worth

Abusing the Buddy System is considered an exploit and will not be tolerated. Incidents will be handled on a case by case basis and action taken may include bans for all accounts involved and/or confiscation of ISK and items. Abuse includes, but is not limited to; farming gifts, making throw-away alts for grief-play purposes.

they are worthless anyways.................all ccp freebie ships end up worthless unless its an alliance tourney ship or one of those extremely limited edition battleships that ccp never give out anymore.

Everytime you buy something that says "made in china" you are helping the rising unemployment in your own country unless you are from china, Buy locally produced goods and help create more jobs.

If you invite a buddy and he pays for the game time, you get a PLEX and 1 x Apotheosis. Invitee receives Cerebral Accelerator.

If you purchase 12 x PLEX at $199, you get 1 x Apotheosis and Sterling Shirt - Ishukone Special Edition.

CCP should've released a new shuttle or other vanity ship for these two promotions. Apotheosis is one of the all-time favorite ships of mine. Saddens me that there will be more Apotheosis in circulation, but oh wel.....

At least the new shirt from 12 x PLEX program is keeping me content.

I got mine for 20 Million off of Contracts 5 Months ago.

They are really in the money.

I however have lost 1 solid Lvl 4 Mission sans Salvage and LP.

Something like the Blockade or Gone Berserk.

I will be at the Jita Statue if you need me.

Not protesting mind you. I go behind it to sneak cigarettes on Company Hours.

Why not, they plan to make Motherships worthless again. Perhaps this was their idea of a true isk sink....Buff the useless Mothership into a super killer for a year or so, then send a ton of them back to oblivion. Oops

Well played if that was the plan, hopefully it isn't generating even more unsubs as people shitcan useless accounts. Lol

When they were first released, the were being sold for a million ISK. And that was a much greater supply than the buddy program will add. Sure this should push down the price some, more supply, but by how far, who knows.

The unintended consequence of these ships being added is the free easy ISK that could flow to new players that have not done anything to earn it and it may distort their expecations and create a sense of entitlement.

It's not like they're getting a T3 Cruiser or something, it's a shuttle that nobody flies.

I think it's great, gives more incentive for new players to join which is what this game needs.

I don't blame CCP for trying to bolster up subscription count considering the hatchet job the community has done to this game in the past couple of months.



I'd swear there's a player incited conspiracy here trying to kill off Eve Online.

While I dont agree with some of this, I do agree that it seems that people just try to look for **** to complain about, just to complain. Complaining about a worthless shuttle.

Well they could still carry them after the nerf, you are correct, they simply can't use them any more. Only Fighters and bombers, which as you already pointed out, are not drones.
