I was wondering if anyone has tried this ?

http://www.downloadc3.com/communicate/

I know most people are using TS3 / Mumble, or even Ventrillo.

I wonder if CCP will replace EVE Voice with the out of game C3?

You have a better (and more likely) chance of CCP implementing 2 tin cans and a string.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

How does that work, exactly? ELF?

I have a paraffin based solution for you Dave

There are good ships,

And wood ships,

And ships that sail the sea

But the best ships are Spaceships

Built by CCP

Does that means it costs a fortune to develop, is not ready on time and then breaks down at the first sign of real usage?

Any spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors are because frankly, I don't care!!

The key to a decent thread is to write a good OP that serves its readers all information necessary to discuss the topic at hand on a silver plate.

This thread is fail.

Here are some bullet points:

C3 is created by Vivox, the company behind EVE Voice.

Vivox seems to push the adoption of C3 as an integrated voice solution for online games (instead of isolated per-game solutions like EVE Voice) - MechWarrior Online is a game that uses C3 for all voice communications.

It seems likely that integrating voice chat across DUST and EVE chat channels makes some adjustments to EVE Voice necessary. EVE players are dissatisfied with the state of EVE Voice. Maybe it would be easier to adopt C3 rather than to bring EVE Voice to the PS3.

Vivox and CCP are partnering on the C3 beta: http://ccp.downloadc3.com/

The problem with in-game voice isn't necessarily that it's bad (although in its current state it is kinda bad). The problem with in-game voice is that it is in game.

You get disconnected, no voice.
You don't want to or can't log in, no voice.
Your character is in a different fleet, no voice (or you have to set up a chat channel just for voice).
You have two characters in the same fleet, you get an echo.

C3 stands for "Command, Control and Communication."

Now you can tell everyone that you had to have a girl explain that to you.

Download what a another program which offer comunication betwen players in game, to be honest i wont be suprised if somthing like this bad idea happens in future, like it happens with our jukebox, CCP force us to use - visists other sites where full EvE track exists.

EvE isn't game, its style of living.
