Show personal bookmarks on grid.

I know it has been proposed in 2010 but since you guyz became awesome in 2012, I thought it was time to bring back this idea.

So it's like the title says, show personal bookmarks on grid, so we can warp to them without having to figure out which is which. It also goes well with your design philosophy of making information easy to access in order to make difficult choices.

It should be an available option, also to display like other beacon items so you know which BM is lined up for the quickest warp out possible.

Why only on grid? Put them in overview and everybody will be happy as fcuk.

On the overview especially.

AFK Cloaking? An afk cloaker has never ganked me. In fact a cloaker at his keybourd has never ganked me either.

I agree, they should be everywhere like any other space objects.

On the other hand, if they do that, I'll probably fill the gates I'm using the most with hundreds of bookmark so I can warp anywhere. If everyone does that, that would create a bunch of new data for CCP to handle.

But it's ok, I'm pretty sure they could figure out something. Having your bookmark in space is after all a great feature to get. I think it's worth the effort.

Bookmarks should show up in space as beacons (bacons). How immensely awesome it would be when camping a gate, a ship lands on a spot 250km off the gate, and you think "oh man, that looks like it's just by my own spot", and now you can see bacon in space.

how about not just personal.. but corp and alliance too?!! :D

Just make sure you allow options in case you only want personal or corp BM displaying, in case you want to limit to overview settings with different combinations.

Sounds reasonable.

So personal + corp + alliance bookmarks all configurable like any other space object. I think the overview setting would be the right place to configure it.

I like this idea. Could be fun for a FC to be able to clearly see where the Corp/Alliance BMs are in order to call ships in for tactical advantage, particularly with the tactical grid overlay up.

Edit: I like the overview idea, but think it would be neat to tie these to the tactical grid as well.

I believe that bookmarks need to be an option to add to the overview, and any bookmarks on grid need to at least have the option of showing up on grid.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?
