Hello:

Copying BPO's is inefficient to say the least. Here is My Proposal:

1) Reduce Base copy time of BPO's

2) Increase Copy Times Based on ME and PE for a maximum of current copy times on perfect ME and PE BPO's

3) Copy times should not exceed That of production times per run on Basic unresearched BPO.
Why is it easier to build a ship with hundreds of m3 of material than it is to copy a Piece of paper or data?

4) Copying should use Data sheets or any other medium CCP deems fit to reproduce such items.

To say the least copy times and copying mechanics should be something to be looked at By CCP.

Any Ideas on How BPO's can be Balanced

P.S. Please no T2 talk, there are threads for that and The idea is for us to take a stab at this issue, if you agree it is an issue at all. If so please give a small explanation as to Why it is or isn't one.

I'd see no issue with datasheets needed for copy.

back before I burned out on indy I will admit to the ease of alt spamming several stations since well it was install the job and done sir done.

Will it offset this since I know its still going on...maybe a little. Or at least would allow the small window to sneak in your copy job before the wait timer in apublic goes from 10 days right up to 35 lol. Guy didn't bring enough sheets....takes 10 minutes to score some and missies his window well then next time he'll hopefully learn to bring extra.

Number 2 though....iffy on that. One could say they paid for the edge with lab time (or paying more on the contract market) and should be able to get his bene's for the normal copy times. I know I dug deep in the pocket for some good t1 bpo's for some of my t2 lines like blops.

But I'd be open to a caveat and make a time adjustment be based on size of the end item. BS would stay the same for example, they suck as is now to copy. And I know you said no T2 but t2 BS already a specialized market, these are the source of them. As someon who can fly em as well used to make them I like more volume to hopefully keep prices lower. One day if/when I go back to pvp I will fly a widow...I'd like to see supply greater than demand to make it more a buyers market lol.

Small stuff like mods though....yeah more copy time. I know full well how easy it is to spam the crap out of these.

I understand What you mean about the research, But i also say that current copy times should not be exceeded and since a perfect ME and PE on a BS is unrealistic it should actually diminish copy times on BS and Larger BPO's.

Your BPO's will retain their Value since a lot of people want an efficient BPO.
