Up from page 7.

Are you a returning player?

Do you want to refresh eve skills?

You noticed news about CVA FC's leaving and are worried that provi will now lack FC's? Fear not, same trend has been going on for years and always there are new rising stars to fill in the gaps!

To refresh you about the "essential" information...

Future applicant is:
-Casual, has time to log in now and then
-Mature; family, work, also other hobbies than eve
-Self sufficient aka fly what you can lose.
-Independent joining a new, growing corporation is not for all.
-Has the understanding of the Eve online & game mechanics and has a certain vision of what he/she wants ingame (preferred ~1 year experience of eve & interested in exploration, solo/small gang pvp, not mandatory tho ).
-Must be active on corporation forums.
-Adequate skills in english ( written and spoken )

Area of operation: Providence ( north ).

List of NO's.

- No smack
- No drama
- No trolling
- No scamming
- No Griefing

Enforcing discipline:
- General procedure is two warnings and out on third.... with minor offences.
- Major offences: Out on first.

Long term goals:

-Set up base in Providece ( done )
-Get large enough playerbase to form gangs regularly within the active time zone and encourage all members to run them.
-Create active community where one can discuss anything and where logging in the game is pleasant experience

Short term goals:
-Defining and creating the corporation structure
-Recruiting versatile, enthusiastic people who like the game and are willing and interested in creating something together

This corp is NOT for you if

...you live outside EU (tho alliance members online round the clock)
...you want someone to entertain you 23½ / 7... and you want it NOW!
...need someone constantly hold your hand when it comes creating content / activities for yourself
...you want plenty of company (other players) right from the day 1.
...your way is always the RIGHT one, you see only black & white, good & bad as options
...you're quick to temper, like to smack, troll, complain / whine and generally not fit in "family friendly"-theme
...you plan to rob the bank / hangars etc
...if you want ship replacement programs etc services that old, more wealthy organisations offer
...you log in forums once to register and then forget about it.
...have tendency of begging and /or hassling other players
...you got irritated by reading the list above

Corp might be for you, if

...you're "main" and are willing to provide your full API information for security check
...are willing to fill in the application form (you find it on corporation forums)
...you log on forums daily to check what new there is. You can create meaningfull texts, have ideas to improve things etc
...you're casual player, log in now and then and want some nice and relaxed place to hang around without too much pressure
...are interested in eve, perhaps know game mechanics and eve politics well and want to discuss about it on forums/chat/voice
...like exploration and pvp... Or are interested in learning it. Not with the best, but in good company.
...you're returning player and want to freshen up your eve knowledge before heading to greener pastures
...you're interested in pvp and want to do it "solo or small gang"-style...
...you're social, but know when to let others do their "stuff"
...you make things happen? There's chance to organise and manage your own "thing". Thing being manufacturing/mining etc. whatever activity makes Eve interesting for you.
...you accept and can follow and obey few basic corporation rules
...you're willing to provide information to those who seek it and not ridiculing "the N00b" for lack of knowledge.
...and generally you are interested in Eve as one hobby among others and want to treat it like one.

____________

To clarify:

-You can still do your own things beside "the corp focus": Mine, manufacture, run missions, do plexes, research, go ratting, trade, haul, spin your ship at station, chat, idle etc. And if you're enthusiastic about some area and want to organise things, go for it!

You can also log in outside the aimed 13.30-18.00. That timeframe is set in hope to get organised corp activities (including lectures etc) going on during that period of time for those not so active in order to do something meaningfull together. If you operate outside the above mentioned timeframe, the importance of forums is stressed (in order to get to know you).

To top from page 7.

You see the loooooong list above about the desired qualities of new applicants and then you pay close attention to the gaming time and then you check the time for these posts... is there any logic there?

The Long Journey is looking for mature players with irregular log in times.

Required high stamina, good tolerance for outside interference, agility/ finesse to dodge or redirect wife/GF/BF aggro on critical times, umm... flexible job that allows to log at least in forums if not in the game Blink

Also in news, corporation killboard has been inaugurated yesterday.
It was reported, that the first client had the tough luck of being ratted on local intel channels when Mister X was moving his ships around and being only one jump from the reported system, there was a brief, brutal, yet very one sided gank in solar system mh9c. Minimal amout of skill was involved as there was sabre, imperial navy slicer and imicus involved in the incident.

Get your ganks today! JOIN The Long Journey!
