So before Retribution I ended up building about 500 Stabbers, all but 20 which I sold to market to make a hefty -rolls hands- profit.

I primarily fly Caldari but have been interested in branching off into some kitey guerrilla Minimitar rust action. Anyhow, I am just wondering if anyone has any suggested fits that they could point me in the right direction for. (Could probably figure it out, alas lazy).

Second question would be how you think the Stabber has changed since the patch and whether you believe it is an effective platform.

Third, if someone has a fit for specifically taking down Cynabals that would be completely awesome.

Stabber: Basic Dual LSE

Highs:

Since Retribution hit the stabber has become MUCH more versatile thanks to the extra low and mid. It can easily catch up to any ABing frigates and some MWDing ones too. Damage isn't too great but it never was on this ship. Just kite them to death pretty much. I'm also currently messing around with a Large ASB w/ Large LSE fit, so I'll let you know how that works out. You may be able to kill a Cyna, but it would require large error on their part

I have evolved my fit from a buffered fit like that above to the following.

I'm a FW pilot so frigate/dessie murder is an absolute requirement. After which switch to barrage and slowly plink bigger ships to death.

Ships to fear = Cyn and vagabond because they are basically this fit but better.

Why signal amp?

Dual damps are a *****.

If you are a player looking to learn to kite or a corp/FC looking for a cheap anti frigate ship then this is what you need in your life if you like minmatar flavoured shenanigans.

I like the setup above me - Only flaw is very poor resists, so stay away from being outnumbered unless they are all in juicy T1 frigates...

Great for taking out frigs and destroyers but will melt against anything with dmg projection.
273 dps 4 + 41 range with barrage
332 dps 2 + 27 range with EMP/PP/Fusion

13,3k EHP

The cap injector can be replaced with a web for protection against fast frigs (but the caplife will be ****) or a TD to make vaga pilots **** their pants (you do acutually have a decent chance against vagas. I almost downed one on testserver)
One of the lows can be replaced with a DC for extra 4k EHP but it will cost either range or dps. But this ship isn't meant to tank so I prefer to not use a DC.
